Vehicles are able to be ordered directly from the factory with accessories already added to them and included on the window sticker The CX-the customer purchased did not have the factory added accessory that some vehicles are window stickered with The day following the sale when the customer called, I offered him the option to return the vehicle with no questions asked and we would unwind the sale The customer chose not to take that option and to keep the vehicle as is

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I drove to the Mazda dealership in route for the CXthat did not include the "tech package"The price, including the cargo cover was already negotiatedUpon arrival, I was told that the vehicle was not in stockThis should have been told to me before I was in route to purchase and pick up the vehicleOnce I was informed of this, I saw the same vehicle available, but with the "tech package"I let the salesman and manager know that I was not really interested in the tech package, but would be willing to take this vehicle if they would come down on the priceIn the end, I paid 2/3rd the price of the tech package and purchased the vehicle Nothing was said about the cargo cover no longer coming with the vehicleIf the cover were to come with one vehicle, why would it not come with the otherI was led to believe that this was standard and not an item that was being given away or "thrown in the deal" In the end, the cargo cover cost approx$I was not willing to go through the hassle of bringing the vehicle back for this minor cost This is the type of business that I might expect from a small used car dealership, not a large Mazda, new car dealershipI was shocked to receive the call back from the salesman and GM, Brett, letting me know that they had lost thousands of dollars on the dealThe end of this purchase was absolutely unprofessional I also noticed that I was never emailed my car buying experience Survey from MundayI find this to be a little too coincidental and feel that it was intentionally not sent out because the dealership or GM does not want negative comments or ratings being made against them I am not satisfied with the response and will not rescind my complaint.

vehicle agreed on and decided he needed a vehicle with more content.  I did not have the exact vehicle he wanted, so I agreed to give away almost the entire cost of the technology package in order to earn his business.  The original deal was worked with a cargo cover, as the vehicle had a factory added accessory on the window sticker for the cargo cover. When he flipped to the new vehicle, there was ZERO mention of the cargo cover by the customer, so we did not know to include one in the deal.  Customer called a few days later stating he was missing the cargo cover.  I spoke with him and let him know that the cargo cover WAS a window stickered item on the first vehicle he chose, however it was NOT on the vehicle he purchased so it would be his responsibility to purchase a cargo cover if he needed one.  He said that he was not happy.  I offered to let him return the vehicle if he was unhappy with the deal and the vehicle.  He stated that he would choose to keep the CX-5 as is because he knew that he did get a great deal on the car and it was not worth losing the car over the cargo cover.
