Safe Transportation

As a result of this complaint, we conducted a review of the piand drop-off times for this client In the one month timframe we have been providing transportation for this client our records indicate that we were unfortunately late on two occasions for which we apologized We understand the need to be consistent when transporting clients with autism and make every effort to be consistent as possible - unfortuantely we encountered traffic issues on these two occassion As such, we have adjusted the driver's time for leaving base to piof client This change has resulted in the driving arriving consistently at the scheduled pitime if not earlier In regards to the time we transported the client early on a "late open" school day Unfortunately the routing was not adjusted to reflect the late pick-up Upon arriving at the school our driver checked in with office staff to clarify that it was indeed a "late open" school day The driver was told by the staff to go ahead and leave the child and they (the office) would watch after the child The driver then contacted SAFE Transportation's dispatch to inform of the scheduling error and advised that the child/client was being left in the care of the office personnel This incident has brought upon changes to our dispatch/routing team verifying daily routing for school A.Mand P.Mschedules We have made this a two person verification process to ensure routing accuracy Relative to the unmarked vehicle - we recently added new vehicles to the fleet and are in the process of obtaining signage for the vehicles That said, all vehicles in SAFE Transporation's fleet have personalized plates, i.e., SAFE Additionally, the driver was wearing a SAFE Transportation logo shirt with a company I.Dbadge Please feel free to contact me with any questions and/or concerns
