Review: Safe[redacted] driving school was suppose to make a road test appointment[[redacted],2013@3pm] for me on [redacted], 2013. On */*/13 I wanted to pay $10 toward my appt. but was told no because no one could give me change for a twenty. I returned on */**/13 and gave $20 toward the road test appt. On */**/13 I received a call from Ms [redacted] saying I need to pay more money because my appt. is coming up soon she explained that she needed a date for when I would pay but was very rude about it. I went to the office to get a better understanding of why she was asking me for more money so soon. We ended up in a verbal disagreement that ended in me get my money back. Though I have money I still don't have a road test appt. I called the DMV and was told I didn't have a apt for */**/13, and was also told I need to have this test done before */**/13 or my permit will expire. going to another company is more money and this has caused me hardship. Though they had me down for taking the test on that day.Desired Settlement: to help me get an earlier apt for my road test and pay for it

First let me start by stating that, "Here at SafeCruz Driving School we care about all our students. We want to make a difference with each and every student to make them become better and safer drivers. We try to keep our prices very low to make Lessons, Classes and Road Test affordable. Lessons can be paid in installments but the 5 hour class and Road Test must be paid in full at the time of reservation. The low price for the use of our car for a road test is $40.00.

If we make an exception and take only a $20.00 deposit, as we did for Ms. [redacted], for the use of our car for the Road Test, we always ask for a time frame of when the rest of the balance will be paid. Remember the car is being reserved, on a particular day, just for that student.

Ms. [redacted] is claiming many things but the truth of the matter is, she only gave us a $20.00 deposit and promised to pay the remaining $20.00 balance by a certain date. She was given two chances to pay and did not. Yes, a courtesy reminder call was made to her home for payment however she became very angry and told me that she did not need a reminder to pay her balance. She then proceeded to let me know that she was coming over to give me a piece of her mind. When she arrived, I was out giving a driving lesson. Ms. [redacted] then proceeded to disrupt our class and threaten my son by letting him know that someone will be waiting for him outside of the school. The police were called but by then she was long gone. The police told us to call again if we had any more problems. The next day Ms. [redacted] returned and demanded a refund which was given to her. The police have explained to us to avoid contact with her.
