Safeguard Covers

Review: I bought a Class A RV cover from Safeguard covers. On their web site on the class A RV page they advertise a 5 Year warranty, the longest warranty from any supplier. I then checked under their policy section on their guarantee and terms and conditions. Terms and condition page under safe guard covers they say their warranty period is, 5 Full years from the date of purchase. The cover lasted about 1 year. I called the company and was told to fill out the return form under SUPPORT. That is when I found the statement, Limit one replacement product per person. Nowhere on their web pages does it say this except under support. I bought the cover on 03/08/2011. I ordered the replacement cover on 07/25/2012. The replacement cover lasted one year. I have made several calls to their listed phone # [redacted]. I have talked to several people including a supervisor. I was told that their 5 Full year warranty doesn't mean what it says and that it is my fault for not looking under support to see the one time replacement. I believe this is deceptive advertising and a lack of good faith by the company. The warranty is the reason I bought the cover from this company.

Review: In 2009 I purchased a RV cover for my motorhome from SafeGuard that states it has a 5 year warranty. In 2011 the cover ripped in several places exposing my motorhome. I then called Safeguard informing them of the issue and they sent me a replacement one on 4/29/2010 also stating 5 year warranty right on there box. On 7/24/2013 I called them to let them know that the replacement they sent me is tearing were the hold down straps rub on the front and back again exposing the motorhome. On 7/24/2013 I was told by employee [redacted] that I have owned the TWO tarps for 1495 days that's less than 4 Years for TWO tarps but he said he can not replace it again.That's Two tarps in 4 years on a 5 Year. I don't think that's right or fair and if there selling cheap tarps than they need to state a lesser warranty.
