I had them replace my windshield last summer. It had a warranty for as long as I had the vehicle that they would replace it if it is a stress crack with no signs of impact. I had a stress crack 2 weeks ago. I set up an appointment for them to fix or replace it. This should have been at no cost to me, due to it being under warranty. They told me that they marked a spot that there was a point of impact. This is not true. There was no impact that caused the window to have a crack. They do not want to honor their guarantee.

We replaced his windshield on August 22, 2018. The warranty covers lifetime coverage on workmanship and quality on parts. If a windshield becomes damaged by a stress crack that is covered under our warranty. If the damage is caused by something hitting the windshield, that is not covered under our warranty. We went out to *** to inspect the damages on his windshield. We discovered that the windshield was broking by being hit by a hard object creating a impact point. We called ***, he was not able to come to his car so we could show him the impact point. We did use a piece of tape point to the impact point so he would see it once he went out to his car. I talked to him personally and explained that the warranty doesn’t cover windshield damage created by being hit by a hard object. This is explained in our warranty brochure that our customer receives at the time of services. Plus, his crack has been there for some time, because his windshield was starting to delaminate along the crack . Due to being broken for sometime. I did offer to replace his windshield at a discounted price. *** refused the offer.

Thank you

Great service, great price. Manager Rod very personable and knowledgeable. No pushy sales tactics just good suggestions. Not only to me while I waited but to the 3-4 other customers that came in. I took in a Subaru for a cracked windshield; this required recalibration of the eyesight safety system. Service techs Nick and Dan were quick and thorough and explained everything before getting started. They estimated a 2 hr job but got done in 1.5 hrs. I would easily go back to this location (or have them come to me) if I ever need auto glas work.

The technician who replaced the windshield on my vehicle damaged the roof and left visible portions of missing paint. When I pointed this out to the receptionist, she got the technician who claimed the missing paint was pre-existing. It was NOT. The technician said that he noticed the damage so he took a picture of it for records sake. This begs the question, why wouldn't he come and talk to me in advance to point out what he discovered. I asked to see the photo he took and noticed that the timeline of the picture was 4:07PM, my appointment was at 3PM, to which the receptionist claimed that the clock on her computer was an hour ahead of our Central time. They made zero effort to rectify the situation or bring a supervisor into the situation. I have since contacted Safelite's customer service department (via email) and they referred me to their general toll free number which is an automated operator. When I finally did reach a person they said there was no recored of my compliant in my file. It has been 2 weeks since the service was done and still, after multiple emails Safelite has made zero effort to actually contact me human to human.

is claiming that we pulled the paint off of his roof. During the replacement of his windshield. This is a pre -inspection picture of his vehicle, prior to us working on his truck. These pictures are date and time stamped attached to his work order. Plus, As you can see there is rust in portions of the area missing paint. Showing this is a prior issue with his truck. The date stamp in our system is an hour ahead of our local time. Due to our systems are tied to the corporate system in Columbus, Ohio, that is an hour ahead of us. We have shown these pictures to the customer on the day the job was completed.

Thank you

Had my windshield replaced with my insurance. One week after the windshield was replaced it cracked again in the very same place. I scheduled a warranty review and a Tech employee looked at is and said it wasn’t covered under warranty and I had to have a rock hit the windshield in the exact same place ina week. I told him this was a new vehicle with less than 1000 miles and nothing has hit my windshield and was garages every night. He called my a liar and said it happens all the time.

I tried calling this customer a few times but the phone says it isn't accepting new calls. While I was out of town, this issues came about and my technician saw this particular customer. He realized that this was a rock chip and told him it wasn't covered under the warranty, however, he offered to do a free chip repair to save the windshield. The customer refused this offer. I would like to offer the same to the customer if he would like it.
