Review: My home was burglarized on November 6. My sole (front) door was severly unhinged and off its hinges. Safet Tec patched the door on November 6 and November 7 then promised to return and make permanent rppairs and replacements (mostly replacing door rfames and locks). Safe Tec charged me, the homeowner, $560 but Safe Tec has not returned to my house to complete the necessary repairs. I've spoken to Safe Tec's representative three times but there has been no further work on my door. I feel very vunerable as the burgular stole my gun, a Police issued .38 cal revolver and ammo, and I can not securly lock my door.
The company demanded a $100 cash deposit on Nov 6; two checks on Nov 8 (each $120); a second $100 cash payment on November 11; and another $124 on Nov 14. All communications were from me with no resulting work completion.Desired Settlement: The door frame need to be replaced, not repaired, then the door rehung. Immediately. If the contractor can not complete the repairs to my satisfation now, then ALL monies paid should be immediately refunded so that I might find another contractor to repair my home. Presently, my home is NOT secure.
