Safety Harbor Yard Waste Transfer

My name is Ellen, I am one of the owners. Alexandria's complaint is completely inaccurate. We have had numerous issues with them in the past and have always been kind enough to let them continue to use our facility. They are disrespectful not only to the ways of our operations but also to other customers trying to go about their business. This last incident occurred when they tried to leave without paying, at that point we were forced to call the Pinellas County Sheriffs office. A sheriff came out and insisted that they pay their dumping fee. We have been in business for almost 8 years and have over 650 customers and have never had a complaint. We go out of our way to treat everyone with kindness and to help everyone to the best of our ability. I am sorry if she felt that Joe was being firm with her, but that is his job and for her to be calling him disparaging names shows the nature of her character and complaint.

We run our business in an ethical and consistent manor. We can not charge a credit card without a customer weighing out, as that is how we determine what their charge is. We also never charge any customers credit card without their prior permission . Flawless not only dumped but asked one of our employees to use our equipment and assist them. They was disrespectful to our other customers by blocking access to the area , they did not want to wait their turn to weigh out and pay , so they drove off.
Joe called them and insisted they return immediately and weigh out, and authorize payment..As an added note Flawless has drove off without weighing out in the past and out of kindness we would allow them to come back at their convenience. We have signs on our property that say everyone must weigh in and out. This time we insisted they come back immediately and weigh out as we were not continuing with this precedent. When we called them they were argumentative and untruthful as to the fact they had dumped and drove off. We pointed out we had several witnesses and video and that if they did not agree to return immediately we would call the Sheriff Department. When they refused to return and the conversation was going no where , we hung up and called the Sheriff. When the Sheriff came and contacted Flawless they not only admitted they dumped and drove off , but gave an estimated out weight and their credit card information to the Sheriff. We processed this with the Sheriffs permission. We value each customer and try to work with them, we were professional and tried to handle this situation without it escalating, but they gave us no choice.
At this point it is in everyone's best interest that they take their business elsewhere as they seem to not want to adhere to our procedures.
