So about two weeks ago I was wearing a pair of [redacted] sunglasses and they fell apart on my face as I was wearing them! Horrors of horrors, I had only owned my frames for less then 4 months so I quickly emailed [redacted] and they referred me to Safilo the manufacturer of my frames. Their consumer relations manager [redacted] worked with me directly and walked me through the process necessary to send my broken sunglasses in to Safilo for their consumer warranty replacement program, and although they weren't able to fix my original [redacted] frames that I had sent they quickly mailed me out a excellent suitable replacement that solved my broken designer sunglasses woes. [redacted] their consumer relations manager was extremely personable and helpful and I am so grateful for all of the help I received from her and her company. Excellent consumer warranty protection and excellent customer service!

Review: In November 2015, I purchase a new pair of [redacted] sunglasses at [redacted] in Denver Colorado. When I returned home and tried them on, the right lens of the sunglasses popped out. I brought them back to [redacted] who inspected the glasses and showed me that both lenses were loose and that the tolerance between the frame and lenses would not keep the lenses in securely. They told me that they could not fix the glasses as that would void my warranty and gave me the number of Safilo. I spoke with Safilo and paid $15 service fee to send the glasses to Safilo and have them assess the glasses. I received a phone call on December 1, 2015 from Jackie of Safilo who informed me that the pair/model that I purchased is no longer stocked by Safilo and, thus, they were not longer covered by warranty, even though I had just purchased them and had not worn them. She offered that I could trade the glasses in and purchase a new pair at 40% off or she would send them back. The sunglasses cost $380. Her statement about the warranty is patently false. Warranty on an item begins when the item is purchased, not when a company decides to stop manufacturing that item. If I lived in the state where Safilo is based, I would surely file a claim in small claims court on this matter. So I have a brand new pair of sunglasses that I cannot wear as the lenses will pop up, yet Safilo will not warranty the glasses. They stock a pair that's almost identical - the replacement model for the style that I purchase, but receiving this replacement will cost me another $240 (the 40% discount). I strongly suggest that the State Attorney General look into their business practices around offering manufacturer defect warranties. They clearly do not warranty their items for 1 year as they state.Desired Settlement: was not offered a free replacement as per their warranty. would like a replacement pair, which may have to be the current model that replaced the model that I purchased

Review: I bought one year ago a sunglasses and without having done anything wrong the lenses were broken, they were not misused or were crushed. In fact , the glass lens is intact. The structure of rubber or plastic was broke alone.

I send an email to the website factory but nobody answered.

I would appreciate your help with the replacement because it is the fault of origin, is the factory warranty for manufacturing defect.

Review: I purchased a pair of Gucci sunglasses (US $ 350) at duty-free shop during the trip to Taiwan. Recently, I found out there are three screws missing.

Safilo representative Lily [redacted] ext. [redacted] told me that I have to pay 60% of the price for another pair of sunglasses since the sunglasses that I purchased was discontinued.

They told me it is because the sunglass was discontinued so it is no longer under warranty.

I pay $350 for a pair of Gucci sunglasses and now it is defective and they use "discontinue" as an excuse. I think that I deserve better than this.

Please help me.Desired Settlement: I need a special-fit (raise nose bridge) sunglass from Gucci. Black
