Revdex.com: I have reviewed [redacted] ***’s reply to complaint ID [redacted] Sarcasm? I truly care about your car and your headache with this situation I feel that I am getting blamed for some past bad experience you had at another shop If a person gets there car fixed and there is a problem, the solution is not refunding money It’s communication and taking another look at the problem to get the car fixed right How can we resolve this without getting a chance to find what went wrong? No one fixes cars as good and as honest as we do That is why we are the women’s choice in Cincinnati for automotive repair That is why we have such great reviews and have the accolades that we doTo resolve this situation and move on, I will consider a refund since this complaint We never over charged anyone everWe don’t talk down to women We seemed to have dropped the ball on this one and will pay for our mistakes I apologize for this Please know that I do care about every customer and every car How much do you want returned? Sorry, [redacted] ###-###-#### cell

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The Fact that the response is made to sound as if I couldn't afford the necessary repairs is totally untrue and disrespectful There was no miscommunication..*** stated "Your car was driven for more than 20miles, I had my guy take it out on the road to make sure the issue was resolved".....I have a college degree and comprehend very well The initial noise, I asked was it my axel...we have never had any conversation pertaining to my manifolds, and I hear the Exact same noise as beforeI still have my estimate from my first visit and manifold is not listed as any issueThe fact that I was lied to is being made into sarcasm I will speak with *** *** about the matter if im not fully refundedNext I will right a review with reciepts and list of what I was told needs to be fixed on every site possibleI was charged 3x the amount for the sensor but that seemed to have been ignored
Regards,
*** ***

I am sorry that the oil leak on the Tundra was not resolved the first time.  I believe we are dealing with a causeand affect issue.  The valve cover gasket and gaskets around it are failing from too much pressure internally.  Too much positive engine pressure will destroy newly...

installed gaskets and plugs.  This engine may have too much internal wear on cylinder walls and piston rings.  This would cause a faulty PVC to fail and lead us down this road.   There is no way my technician would have known that this engine had this problem without the vehicle coming back after the initial repair.  We were fixing the effect not the true cause.  This sometimes happens in my industry and I totally understand how you feel.  I felt the same way about things until I found that some issues are undetectable.  I assume the car is still leaking oil and has positive pressure??   The truth is the vehicle was diagnosed with a valve cover gaskets leaking.  That was true.  The problem is the repair is being destroyed by too much internal engine pressure from worn cylinders.  On another note, the valve cover gaskets were replaced on 6/25/15, not the headgaskets.  That was a clerical error from the headgaskets being recommended from the previous repair.  To resolve this issue under normal circumstances, we would continue the repairs at a discount until resolved.  Now, I have lost your trust and cannot help you with your vehicle.  I would like to discuss a refund with you as soon as possible.  Please call my cell phone [redacted].         [redacted] (owner)

Dear [redacted],     I talked to [redacted] about his vehicle.  What has happened is that a part (waterpump) was replace 8/10/12with 93,349 miles.   That part and labor was guarranteed for 12month/12,000 miles whichever comes first.Obviously, the job was out of...

warranty.    However, the part SHOULD have lasted longer.  I have no idea what caused the failure in the waterpump, but thewaterpump failure broke the timing belt which in turn allowed the pistons to collide with the valves causing majorengine damage.  I understand the frustration that [redacted] is going through.    To replace the engine will cost approximately $3800.  If Jim's Auto Clinic replaces this engine at $3800, I willsubtract the money he spent on timing belt ($967.68).  I will also tow the vehicle back to Jim's Auto Clinic at nocharge.  The out of pocket to replace engine will be approximately $2832.   I am doing this out of compassion for [redacted] because I feel the waterpump should have lasted longer.  However, itwas no fault of my technician or supplier.  Sometimes these things happen with no reason.  [redacted] should call Phil toschedule and get a free loaner vehicle.                 Thanks,   Mark G[redacted] - owner
