I was experiencing pain in a tooth which I want to have extracted. Humana recommended Sage Dental in Lake Worth, FL, and guaranteed $3000 insurance benefits. So I want in looking to get my tooth extracted. The dentist said I had $8,000-$10000 in dental problems she would fix; she totally ignored the extraction which was painful. Before long - even though it was supposed to be a 1-hour visit - they signed me up for Alphaeon Credit which guaranteed $10,000 at 35% interest and sent several hours talking me into something I did not need immediately. When I finally left the office after 2.5 hours, I had wracked up thousands of dollars in debt. The tooth was never extracted, and I continued in pain. I had to seek out another dentist to extract the tooth in pain. A month later, I received an expensive bill from Alphaeon which needed immediate payment; even though the work they did was minimal. The Office Manager told me my dental insurance was refused, and I owed everything (even work not yet done) to Alphaeon Credit. Needless to say, I refused to pay for work not yet done, and contacted my dental insurance provider Humana. NO BILL FOR SERVICE WAS EVER SUBMITTED TO HUMANA. Sage Dental lied to me about their refusal. I refused to pay Alphaeon and Sage Dental. My credit rating in the 700s plunged to the 500s and now I'm being pursued by creditors demanding payment. Sage Dental committed FRAUD ! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY! I'D SUE THEM IF I HAD AN ATTORNEY WHO WOULD WORK WITH ME. I AM REGISTERING A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA BECAUSE OF THEIR UNDERHANDED ACTIONS. I am a 71-year-old disabled man, and they ruined my credit. Cancel your appointment with Sage Dental immediately. They are liars and scammers out to line their pockets with your money!

I went in with an abscess from a tooth that I had a previous root canal & crown and was told that I needed a “retreat” for that tooth and the tooth next to it as well as 2 new crowns. I was sent to another location for an endodontist to do the work. It’s been 2 years and I’ve been dealing with pain from the same 2 teeth. I went for a cleaning 6 months ago which was highly over-priced and there was no mention of an issue with the teeth that had the work done. Thank goodness I finally opted to go somewhere else and get a second opinion! Turns out the same 2 teeth were still infected all this time and I’ve suffered significant bone loss (11mm pocket) as a result! I also learned the crowns that were put on didn’t fit properly as one has a significant over-hang. I contacted customer care and was told someone would contact me but after several attempts I gave up. I will do my best to make sure everyone is aware of my experience...
