Sage Michaels Oil Heating

Today (11/18/2015) Sage Michaels Oil hearing Company entered my house without my permission, disassembled my heating system, and when I reached out to them to come out on the agreed upon time of tomorrow (11/19/2015) am time, left, with the part of my previously working heating system past (water pump)When I tried calling them later on about the missing part of my equipment I was told to "have a nice *** day, call your lawyer", and that the guys who was doing the repairs was going to sell my pump to other customers

This contractor is incompetent, unethical, unfocused and DANGEROUS!

He came to our house to give an estimate on a central AC issue. He arrived 20 minutes late. He was uninterested in listening as we tried to explain the problems we were experiencing. He removed the back cover of the outdoor AC unit, looked at it for a few minutes, wrote up an $800 proposal, told us we did not need to pay the $45 service fee because he had included it in the proposal, told us we either had to hire him on the spot or call him within an hour so he could stop back to service it while he was in the area, otherwise he would not come back because we lived too far away from his office. We told him we would NOT hire anybody on the spot, we needed to follow up with our home warranty company, we were getting 5 other proposals from other contractors and would get back to him once all of that was completed. He said he might be able to come back to help us in 7 - 8 days, and he left. As other contractors came out to give their proposals, they noticed that he had left the back panel of the AC unit unattached, exposing the 220 volt wires! They said it was very dangerous and said we should have him return to re-attach the cover ASAP. We called him and he said he would stop back in 1/2 an hour. He did not. We called the warranty company, who then called him, and he told them he would stop back soon. He did not. We called him again and he did not answer. We left a voice message. We called the warranty company again, letting them know he never came back. The next day he told the warranty company that we did not pay the $45 service fee, so he left the wires exposed. How unethical is that? Expose people to 220v because you were too careless to put the covering back on, and then make up some petty comment about how they did not pay you the service fee that is clearly included in the written proposal that you gave them? This man is incompetent, unethical, dangerous, and quite petty. Our advice is to stay away. Don't waste your time, or jeopardize your family's safety.

Sage Michael’s Oil and Heating appears to running an overcharging scam. I immediately brought it to Mike’s attention he charged my American Express $550, and he charged my USAA $540. My total bill was $990. He was only supposed to charge my USAA $440. He promised for months to no avail so I contacted American Express. They wrote back that the merchant Mike was charged properly and if I still disputed it contact them. I contacted Mike and sent him the letter from AMEX and a screenshot from USAA showing he overcharged me $100.00.
Approximately 17 Jan 2018 I contacted and he agreed to pay 125.
I never received the check and today 7 February 2018 he said AMEX agreed with him and that I lost my dispute so he is not going to pay me. They did not side with him, what they wrote and I have the letter is the following, “If I show them proof, I paid by other means they will reopen my dispute”. I told him I was going to contact the Revdex.com and he said he does not care because he is not a member. I informed I would contact you and he said “his company attorney” will handle. All of this information is in writing.

fixed my hot water tank and happy I am ,other companys wanted too replace the unit.
price was fair with a service charge well done will use in futher

sunday 07/19/2015 no company is picking up phone ,all taking a message.
called mike saw his number on craigslist said 365 days and 24 hr service.
understanding that's its sunday I paid $109 for service fee plus $214 for parts well worth the repair for sunday work at 97 degrees outside .
this is well worth calling and not being hot.
