We contacted this business to replace two outside faucets which had some leaking. Considering it a small job, we did not, unfortunately, ask for an estimate. A family member was at the home while the plumber spent 1 1/2 hours on the job, maximum. We were shocked to receive a very general invoice for $500.00 for the job.
When asked to please provide an itemized statement for parts, labor, etc., this company replied that they did not provide such and that the charge for such a service was found on page two of their website, under another heading. The respondent also mentioned adding back flow parts (which had been provided by the city), that we had left at the faucets for their use. Then the respondent asked for immediate payment, as it is their policy. This is a repair on a house that our family is selling following the death of our father. Obviously, we did not know, nor had we been told about the website, and considered this a minor job. Siblings who live in the Twin Cities were also shocked by the charge and considered it exorbitant.
I would never recommend using this plumbing business.
