Upon receiving the information and pictures from this customer, we have communicated with her directly about this complaintWe thanked her for her time and effort to explain the situation and to get pictures to allow us to review her problem thoroughly and we told her they were a tremendous
helpThe complaint is a post installation crack in her installed *** quartz countertopThis countertop was installed in May At the completion of her installation, she signed the Certificate of Completion (COC) stating she was happy with the countertop and there were no defects to any part of itIf there is any issue after a countertop is installed, we resolve this before we ask the customer to sign offThis complaint was made in November 2017, approxmos after installation In the picture the customer sent, there is a very clearly defined “white ring” from exposure to excessive heat sourceAny exposure to excessive heat will cause thermal shock and can cause the quartz to develop a crackOur warranty very clearly states exclusions to our limited lifetime warranty for *** Quartz Surface: damage caused by exposure to excessive heat that creates white marks, white rings or cracks appear on the product We regret that this has been an issue for this customer since November 2017, but we believe she was satisfied and pleased with her purchase before this incident and resulting complaint being filed

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.] I have enclosed more pictures that shows white circles through the entire design of the quartz we choose. The farricater came out from [redacted] and verified that it was NOT thermal damage.Actually where the crack is is in a place where no heated objects would have been placed. This shows that the excuse that Sage Surfaces is claiming is false.The product had a defect and cracked and needs to be repaired. [redacted] and myself are still waiting on a response from Sage Surfaces on how to repair this and have heard nothing. The crack continues to get bigger and we need a solution.
