I am rejecting this response because:It is factually inaccurate and also quite insulting.Regardless of the personal comments, The Minnesota Truth in Repairs Act clearly defines what should happen when new work needs to be done, and if it is to exceed 10% of the original quote, the vehicle owner must be notified before work is doneThe original total was on Saturday for that work. At that time, the shop claimed I needed an alternator and would get me a quote Monday morningI asked for a quote on that before any more work was done. No one ever called with a quote on the alternator. When I called Monday afternoon, worth of exhaust repairs had been done. I never asked for anything for freeI just wanted to make sure I could afford repairs before I gave the go aheadPlain and simpleThat is my right and the shop owner's responsibility. I've been going there for several years, and it blows me away he has turned things so personal as to repeatedly call my wife and I names over what is really a simple miscommunication within his shopEven on that Monday, I would have been willing to try and make payments if the repairs were necessary, but the shop owner lost his cool almost immediately and suddenly we were enemiesIt's all very sad and confusing

The person sending this complaint was not part of the service transaction, at all. Therefore, it's all hear-say. Most of the what is said in the complaint is not true, as stated. The actual customer who dropped off the dress (and picked it up upon completion) never requested special
consideration that she not have to pay for the dress if the staining could not be removed. If she had done that from the get-go, her request for service have would have been refused. Much testing, time and effort has to be extended to heavily soiled conditions with garments. There can never be an expectation that this attempt be free-of-charge. While in our possession, the dress was treated and cleaned (2) times. The fact that it didn't readily release using the proper protocols for treating a soy sauce stain suggested one of two things: a) it wasn't soy sauce, or b) the customer or someone else pre-treated the stained areas and permanently-set it, as a result. The customer than picked up the dress and willingly paid for it, with no complaint at the time. Another person is now doing this, in her stead. The complaint came after-the-fact, by an individual (by another name) was actually refused service by our company for disingenuous behavior in the past. Therefore, this complaint becomes even more complicated because the person now involved was no longer permitted to use our services. If the actual customer had asked for special consideration from the get-go, it would have been fair to both parties coming up with a mutual agreement (or no agreement at all) from the very beginning. Therefore, after all considerations made, the $charge is appropriate and still stands with us. (Not a $77,charge, as stated in the complaint)

we received this car for work and customer said he had his own headlites and wanted us to remove the front bumper cover to replace he was awair of that and agreed on the price for that and an oil change so we did that and when he returned to get the car we told him that his drivability
problem was a hard one to figure out he had multiple trouble codes that were in need of diagnostic time the car would not exceed miles per hour and his wifes response was I cant drive it like this so they left it until Monday on that day we decided that bhis plugged catalytic convertor was possibly the only problem causing othe trouble codes so we replaced the convertor and retested the other problems that did not exsist after the cat was replaced I called him to tell him and he could not stop screaming about he didn't authorize the repair I tried to tell him that was what we had to do to go forward with his diagnostics when he settled down I told him I would remove the new catalytic convertor and reinstall his old one leaving him just the bill for the diagnostic time he refused to pay that two claiming we did the work unaproved I tried to tell him that when he left the car here the previous Saturday when we were done with his headlites and oil change and she said I cant drive it like this they needed and to know what was wrong that at that point we need to spend time to diagnos the problem he dosnt understand that because it was cheaper for him to keep arguing than to pay the diagnostic time I never want him back as a customer he is a jackass and im tired of people like him that want everything for free I wonder if he works for free

Revdex.com was informed that the case has been resolved
