The customer with the complaint is fairly accurate in her original claimed amount of $274.25, which was actually $- $of which was for a license plate fee required by the DMV and $for a doc fee that is stated in her contract as well as on the wall at the office, and the remainder was her state taxes assessed by the DMV to any individual who buys a vehicle based on the sales price When this customer was late on payments to DMV, her paper tag expired and we kindly asked her to bring the vehicle back to the place of business so we would not have to pay a driver to repossess the car due to the liability of it not being legal with an out-of-date paper tag Customer also signed an agreement stating that she understood the vehicle could be repossessed at any time she was late Customer was attempting to hide the vehicle and ride around on an expired tag and was hostile with employees and her fiancé was asked to vacate our facilityAfter the customer was repossessed as agreed per contract for failure to pay, the owners wife made a phone call to explain the situation and give her a second chance, explaining yet again the breakdown of the costs associated with her contract Customer agreed that she would pay if she could have her car back as she had children that needed a ride to school the next day Owners wife agreed to let customer have the vehicle back even though she was late in attempts to keep a happy customer while establishing boundaries as well Customer waited until tag was expired to call the office to as for extension, and was extremely rude when asked to bring the vehicle with an expired tag to the office until she had the money to pay for her tag so the liability of the car being impounded was not on the owner of the company

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Regards,*** ***
The claims and allegations of the business are false. I nor my fiancé were ever asked to leave the facility, due to the fact that I can produce evidence that I was at my place of employment from am-6pm on the date in question. I was never given the offer to bring the vehicle back to them "until I had the money to pay" as they claimed. I did not wait until the day the tag expired to ask for the extension. I paid the amount quoted therefore, I would not have needed an extension. I am not sure which individual at the business is responding to my claims, I know that the individual that I worked with through the entirety of the situation, resigned from here position. I asked that individual would it be ok if I returned the car and receive my money for the taxes back because I had so many difficulties with the company, she told me that she would have to speak to "***" and he would decide. I am not asking for any monies spent on the down payment, weekly payments or the monies for the maintenance I had done on the car. I am asking for the money for the taxes and this response does not outline that. I would like to know why the taxes could not be returned to me, they should have informed me that even after the payment my car would be repossessed and at that time I would have surrendered the car and kept the tax monies. I also know that within one day of the repossession the car was on the lot for sale again and has recently been sold. I have been informed by someone close to the company that this is a bate and switch type deal that they do on these vehicles
