Salazar Construction

The worst contractor I have dealt with, and I'm in the industry. Big hail storm the previous year and a neighbor let me know about this company. The beginning was fine, they were attentive as they needed to converse with Insurance directly... All was okay until the final check was in the works and I could not calculate what they wanted in payment (they wanted ~$1500 when the final check was for ~$500 and no way to clarify). They literally harassed the heck out of me... constant phone calls and texts, and even pounding on my door to try physical intimidation, all the while I let them know I was at work and not able to comply with their threats on the phone or in person and I wanted to keep the conversation in writing (they then stopped all communication for 4 weeks) meanwhile they could not even provide a final invoice of what the charges were. Their response was just to pay it, they know what their doing or else they will lien me... We went rounds with the PM and owner, they would only threaten to lien my property and to take their word for it (they claimed 4 different amounts owed, but they know what their doing). Fast forward a month of back and forth with Insurance to clarify, and weirdly their math was indeed wrong and they were demanding more payment than was allocated for the repairs. I got a "we're sorry for the inconvenience" email and another incorrect payment amount with another threat to lien my home if payment was not received in 5 days. Looking further now, they supplied photos of somebody else's home to claim amounts on my claim for things like installing Ice and Water Barrier, along with saying they removed and replaced the gutter as it connected through the drip edge. I take a photo of not a single screw through the drip edge (actually just bent around the screws and looks/functions terrible) and send it to the owner to show his quality work, and proof they did not do what they said and were attempting to bill me for. So then the owner said they should bill for it, but they'll waive it this time and the final payment does not include those line items, but again demands I pay within 5 days or they are pursuing legal actions (the final check was again updated and is currently in the mail, I have not even received it yet at the time of this review, but I have 5 days to pay them or else...) The legal actions I am now pursuing are allegations of Insurance Fraud and some extreme harassment and coercive business practices to try and collect incorrect payment amounts using intimidation if they see fit. While I did get a new roof under insurance, the quality is extremely poor and they try to take your depreciation for the loss you experienced. USE EXTREME CAUTION WITH THIS COMPANY and I would suggest going elsewhere. If you do use this company, demand an accurate invoice after work is completed prior to sending ANY final payments, and do your due diligence to ensure the amount they are asking for is correct. I'm scheduling another contractor to perform an inspection and will update with those findings as well. BUYER BEWARE.

Salazar is the best. It was a pleasure working with Brandon and the rest of the crew. They are polite, hardworking and punctual. They completed our roof in three days from tear off to putting on the new roof. I didn't think it would be possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a new roof.

I live in a triplex. Our landlord had a new roof put on by Salazar Construction LLC. The roofers arrived early the morning, took a break for lunch, and finished the first day around 6 -7 p.m. They completed the entire roofing job in about 1-1/2 days. All debris from the removal of the old roofing was removed at end of the first day. As a tenant, I was pleased the entire process was completed in about 1-1/2 days. The roofers were friendly and very focused to get the job done. I was very impressed with Salazar Construction LLC and would recommend this company for roofing.

From start to finish Salazar Construction was highly professional. His crew was exceptional and hard working. I am so happy I chose to have them roof my home. They completed the project ahead of schedule with amazing results. I would highly recommend Salazar Construction.

Salazar Construction is a gem of a business! They are punctual and arrive on time and their team is polite and professional. They removed our old roof, installed the new roof and removed all the debris within a day. We are very happy with the looks and quality of our new roof! I would highly recommend them.

They utilize the best products and were affordable. When they left they removed all debris and our property was restored to preconstruction status. Salazar replaced the roof on our house. They met our insurance adjuster and went on the roof with him and told him what they found. Once it was approved, they took care of the paperwork and guided us through the process. If it wouldn't have been for the rain, it would have been finished in one day. They called us and told us when and the time they would start. No problem they were there on time and the roofers were ever so nice and got right down to business. Once the roof was finished, they cleaned up and left our yard just like nothing ever took place. Our communication with them was impeccable. Since then, many of the neighbors in our neighborhood has hired them. We are very satisfied with this company.
