Hello, *** ***I charged *** *** only one time to evaluate her brake issueBut given the amount of neglect on her part to up keep her vehicle it took multiple examinations to find all the issuesIt would be wrong of me to charge multiple times for checking the vehicle multiple times for the same issueBut every time I checked the vehicle after the initial examination it was for FREEThen she requests to have an oil change done for freeI told her I could not do that and then she asked for a discount off of the oil change in which I offered her $off Only IF she performed the oil changeShe then denied the oil change and asked for only one quart of oil which we happily put in vehicleWhen told the cost $for quart of oil she refused to pay so we just told her to have a nice daySo all in all ** ***’s vehicle had multiple problems because of her neglectI evaluated the vehicle multiple times with charging her only one timeThen she believes she has the right to receive free service** *** is the type of customer that you wouldn’t want at your place of business.Thank You For Your Time Sincerely,Mustafa S

Hello, *** ***We here at Salhani Auto have recently received a letter from your organization pertaining to customer ***Upon arrival to my establishment on 10/14/Customer *** complained of a loud grinding noise from her vehicle when in motion, I informed her that there would be a visual
diagnostic charge of $Upon inspection I found The Right rear wheel to be completely locked up, further diagnosis showed the rear right brake system to have failed due to rust causing the pins and hardware that hold the brakes together to breakThat in turn caused the brakes to seize due to hardware not holding them in place*** then returned a week later now with a different issue stating that the brakes intermittingly squeakedSo I brought the vehicle back in and reevaluated it (free of charge), I explained to *** that due to the amount of rust that had been present at the time of the initial inspection even after thoroughly cleaning there still might have been some debrisSo I re cleaned and lubricated both sides of the rear brake system and gave her back the vehicle*** then came back also one week later again about the intermittent squeak, we then brought the vehicle back in for evaluation (also free of charge). This time there was no more debris present which allowed me to notice that her parking brake wire on the rear driver side had be sticking causing the brakes to not retract to their full potentialSo at that point and time I explained to her that the parking brake wire needed to be replaced in order to stop the intermittent squeaking*** then became argumentative and angry because she had to spend money on a new issueAll in all *** came in for a catastrophic brake failure on the rear passenger side and then we diagnosed her vehicle two more times after the initial repair at NO extra charge finding that she had additional problemsEven tough it took multiple times to diagnose the vehicle for its full range of problems, the vehicle was correctly diagnosed and only charged for diagnosis One time, I feel as though *** is trying to take advantage of my business where we went above and beyond to make sure her issue was diagnosed correctlyI feel disappointed when dishonest people try to use your company as a scare tacticI know your organization is meant to keep businesses honest and to perform at their utmost potential and that is what we strive to do here at Salhani Auto.Thank You For Your TimeSincerelyMustafa S

---------- Forwarded message ----------From: [redacted] <[redacted].com>Date: Tue, Dec 19, 2017 at 7:38 PMSubject: Re: You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania in regards to your complaint #[redacted].To: Revdex.com <[email protected]>I have read the response to my complaint and am now attaching an audio file of part of our conversation. I recorded this once Mr. Salhani began getting upset. This conversation began because I believed that he did not do a proper brake inspection as he promised me he would and therefore missed some issues. Once I left his shop on the Saturday that the repairs were completed, there was white smoke coming from my wheels. I called the shop and they were closed. I called back on Monday morning to tell him what happened and to inform him that the brakes were still squeaking. He said to bring it in. I did. He looked it over and told me that he lubed everything up and that I should not use my emergency brake and that I would be fine. I drove the car for a few days and the squeaking came back I called him again and again he said to bring it in and again I did. On this 3rd return he finds that the rubber that protects my emergency brake, on the left side of the car, has a hole. And he says that this is the reason my brakes are squeaking. I ask how come he didn't find this upon the brake inspection that he did the first time. Or when I came back complaining the second time. He replies that this was a smaller issue, that he found and repaired the bigger issue on the right side of the car. That he is not God, he can't know and fix every problem on a car. I agreed that he is not God, but that he was a person that specializes in auto repair. If at any time he was unable to find or repair my vehicle, he should have said so. He says that my car is old and needs thousands of dollars in repairs and if he had told me that that I would not have believed him. I informed him that the reverse was true, if he had told me what was wrong with my vehicle that I would have had more faith in him and trusted him for doing a complete assessment. On this final trip to this shop he realized that I needed an oil change, I had no oil in my vehicle. He wanted to charge me $35.99 for the oil change. I told him that I thought the oil change should be free since he did not do the complete brake assessment that he charged me the $40 for initially. He disagreed and said that he would give me $5 back. I asked how much was a quart of oil. He said $5. I asked that he put 1 quart of oil in my car. I went outside to wait. A different mechanic walked over and asked me for $5 for the oil, I informed him that I had a $5 credit so I was not going to give him any money. He says that his boss, "MS" sent him over. I told him that his boss had given me the credit. My car was brought out, "MS" informed me that I needed at least 2 quarts of oil, I said thank you and drove off.
