I am rejecting this response because: They clearly did not read the email thread they themselves attached. I'm not asking for my deposit NOW,  I'm just not jumping through their hoops to get my deposit back.  If this "has nothing to do" with them, if it really is on [redacted], then why am I having to deal with them to begin with? I've never signed any paperwork associating myself with Homestead Realty. My move out notice was submitted to [redacted] Investments prior to Homestead assuming management control over this property. They (Homestead) have been continually evasive about providing a clear answer about when I'll receive my deposit. I've asked no less than 4 separate times. The response they've provided here is the first I've heard of it being 30 days after I move out. Again, I implore you to review our email conversation as proof of this. I paid the full months rent for June, what does it matter when I move out? I tried negotiating a prorated amount due to the fact that I'm not staying the whole month and that too was completely denied by Homestead. It is my belief that the individual tasked with managing this property is inept and overzealous in an attempt to "win" this dispute by deflecting accountability and making me out to be irrational. Had this individual been willing to have a real conversation about this matter as opposed to skirting around every question I've asked we would not presently be in this predicament.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

6/22/16 As per phone conversation with [redacted], he would be giving the consumer a call to discuss these issues.

This dispute has nothing to do with us. This has to deal with [redacted]. We have no control over what [redacted] stated to the tenant or what the property condition was like when they moved in. We just took over the property the 1st of June. We were instructed by the maintenance supervisor on...

what condition the property needs to be in, in order to receive their deposit. We want the tenant to receive their deposit. The tenant has made false accusations about our company. We have tried to resolve this matter with the tenant, but the tenant has made very harsh comments about our company. The tenant has not even moved out yet, but is demanding his deposit now. Our policy is when the tenant moves out, the tenant will receive their deposit within 30 days after the move-out. The deposit was transferred to the owner and it is in the owner's discretion if the tenant will receive their deposit, depending on the condition the apartment was left in. The tenant will not be moving out until the end of June. The tenant originally stated they will be moving out June 15th, but is now stating they will be moving out June 20th. The owner is willing to contact Revdex.com and discuss this further and/or communicate with the tenant directly. Attached is the conversation between the tenant and the property manager.
