Salix has failed to pay rebate as promised in written materials they have distributed to this consumer.In accordance with Salix's [redacted] Savings Card program, I mailed the completed rebate form, original pharmacy receipt and copy of[redacted] Saving Card to them on 04-17-2016. On the rebate form, it reads, "In 10 to 14 days you will receive a check". Since I received no response, I first called the[redacted] rebate customer service line(XXX-XXX-XXXX)to report my issue on 06-15-2016. I called a second time on 06-30-2016. I called a third time on 07-20-2016. I called a fourth time on 07-29-2016. On every occasion, I was told that the information had been received and approved, but that the $60 rebate check was in process. On the third call, the representative stated that the case would be escalated and it would be resolved in 24-48 hours. She took my cell phone number, but I was never called and it still isn't resolved long past the promised deadline. This is an unacceptable business practice and false information is being distributed, even after it has been drawn to their attention.Desired SettlementThe $60 rebate as promised and a specific date of delivery.I finally received the check in the mail on 08-05-2016. Thank you for your assistance.

Complaint$10.00 MoviePrep Rebate Offer not being honored. I received a $10.00 MoviePrep Rebate Coupon in September. I mailed in the documents to receive the $10.00 Rebate also in September 2015. It states allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of the rebate check. To date, I have made NUMEROUS phone calls beginning in November 2015 through today, spoke with many people including two supervisor's [redacted] & [redacted] at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. Make a long story short I have heard the SAME verbatum wordtrack about, "they have received everything from me and the rebate should be processed but they don't have an actual date when the check will be issued." [redacted] "Escalated" the approved rebate on 2/5 and told me that it would be 24-48 hours. [redacted] told me today 2/15/16, it is in the new group of checks to be processed but again no date. Also the rebate dept was closed today and no one above him available to help me. But he will have the Rebate Dept call me tomorrow. [redacted] read me all the times my calls have been documented, please call me to get my member number. Needless to say, I am extremely unhappy with this process and the time I'm having to put into this for you to honor your word of paying me $10.00. so much so, that I'm even wondering if this is a scam from Salix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. I truly hope someone can help me get this resolved.Desired SettlementI just want to receive my $10.00 Rebate that is owed to me within a reasonable time. I believe I have waited long enough (5 months) considering it has been since September 14, 2015 when the documents were mailed. Salix agrees that this matter (Case #XXXXXXXX) should have been closed because the patient received her $10 payment. Trial Card, a Salix vendor, processes the $10 MoviPrep Rebate Coupons. Trial Card informed us that a $10 check was printed on 2/19/2016 for Ms. [redacted] ("patient"). Trial Card said that the patient was notified of this on 2/19 as well as 2/22 when she called the call center to enquire about her rebate. According to Trial Card, the patient should have received her check no later than 3/10 and the check cleared on 4/1. Salix takes great pride in honoring all of these commitments and appreciates the feedback from the patient. Yes this complaint has been resolved after lots of time on my part and arguing with them about the amount of time it has taken to pay me. So after 6 months of aggravation I finally received my $10.00.

This complaint involves the [redacted] Savings Program. I used [redacted] for a recent procedure and filled out the requested information including the product name and amount paid on the original pharmacy receipt for [redacted]. I completed the mail in rebate coupon and filled in the required information and enclosed all necessary information pursuant to the mail in rebate instructions. Today, 09/26/2015, I received a denial for the $10.00 rebate stating that they could not send me a rebate check because I didn't have the membership number for the [redacted]. There was no membership number to give them and no where on the rebate form does it identify that the membership number is required to process the $10.00 rebate. I filled out and submitted what was required of me and feel that they are denying me the rebate for something that was not explicitly listed in the mail in rebate form directions.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] powder packetOrder_Number: Rx: [redacted]/////Desired SettlementI filled out the required information per the rebate instructions and am due the $10.00 rebate. I contacted customer service today and was told that the rebate will not be processed because the membership number for the [redacted] was not submitted with the mail in rebate. It's impossible for me to submit something that was not given to me in the first place. I followed the instructions and am concerned that this may be considered a deceptive business practice. /////

Still have not received a check for [redacted] Savings ProgramDue to cost of prescription participate in the savings program. The last benefit request was sent 4/2016. Have called 4 times to try to facilitate the receipt of check and every time I am given a different response, check is being processed etc..the call on 6/22 I was told check mailed and should receive in 7-10 business days. Today I was told check was never sent and still being processed. This drug is expensive for me, already 1600 in 2016 for out of pocket costs to me. I only get this drug because of this program.Desired SettlementWant the check. Have already requested my MD change script for something more affordable.

Received only 1/5 of refund for Product:[redacted]CONTACT: Salix Pharmaceuticals, 14001 Weston Parkway Ste 103, Cary, NC 27513. #:[redacted]My husband:[redacted], received the prescription:[redacted] Was unable to use $40 coupon due to the pharmacy informing us that we would have to come back so they could re-run the prescription with coupon. We did not have time to so due to my husband having to start taking the prescription really soon. Sent Salix Pharmaceuticals everything needed for refund, showing that we paid $50 for prescription. Received correspondence back from Salix Pharmaceuticals stating that they needed the prescription "stub" showing our saving from coupon. (We weren't able to use coupon and paid $50) Mailed the coupon the them, showing Salix Pharmaceuticals that we didn't use the $40 coupon. Received refund check for $10. Called Salix Pharmaceuticals,[redacted], to inquire as to why we only received refund for $10 and not the value we paid, $50. Was told that the rebate is only UP TO $10. I then asked, so I'm out $40 out of our pocket and was told yes with an apology. We provided all that was needed (rebate form, prescription slip showing the value we paid $50, AND later mailed coupon to them) yet only received $10. Desired SettlementRefund of remaining $40 we paid out of pocket.

Failure to send rebate.I bought [redacted] and it came with a $20 rebate. I sent in the required documents, but they sent me a letter back saying because my receipt didn't have my name on it they wouldn't give me my rebate. How am I supposed to get a receipt with my name on it?Its clear the company is just using the $20 rebate as a bait and switch. Insincere offer to actually follow through on rebate. This company unfortunately is acting unethically in this situation.Desired SettlementI want the $20 that was promised to me when I bought the product. I upheld my end, they need to uphold their end.$20 or I will file a complaint with my state's Attorney General and the FTC.
