Salmen Insurance Services Inc Reviews (1)

[redacted] had called and left [redacted] a voicemail on September 22, 2015 at 10:51 AM stating that he wanted to purchase General Liability coverage and wanted [redacted] to call him back.  We...

e-mailed him a General Liability quote and paperwork on 9/22/2015 and he e-mailed it back signed along with payment for the deposit.  His General Liability policy was bound on 9/23/2015 and an e-mail was sent to him at the e-mail address [redacted] on 9/24/2015 at 11:16 AM by our service department stating that his General Liability policy was in effect as of 9/23/2015 at 12;01 AM.  Our accounting department tried to run his credit card for the deposit amount and they discovered that the expiration date was omitted on the Payment Authorization form.  [redacted] from our office attempted to contact Mr. [redacted] and left him a voicemail on 9/30/2015 asking for the expiration date.  Mr. [redacted] called back on 9/30/2015 and left us a voicemail with expiration date for the credit card.  On 10/1/2015 our accounting department tried to run the credit card and it was declined.  Ms. [redacted] called Mr. [redacted] and left him a voicemail stating that his card was declined and to call us back to clear it up or to give us another form of payment.  We never received a call back from Mr. [redacted] that day so we tried to reach him via telephone later that day as well as several times for the next few days.  We left another voicemail on 10/5/2015 and then another on 10/7/2015, calling him numerous times in between voicemails we left for him in hopes to catch him on the phone to resolve this payment issue.  On the week of 10/12/2015, [redacted] called Mr. [redacted] from his mobile phone using the *67 feature which blocks my outgoing caller ID and Mr. [redacted] answered but said he was busy and that he would call back, but he did not. We attempted several more times to reach him via telephone to no avail, leaving one more voicemail on 10/21/2015 and tried to call several times on 11/2/2015 several times using the *67 feature again with no luck on getting a hold of Mr. [redacted].  On 11/5/2015 our accounting department once again tried to run Mr. [redacted]’s credit card for the deposit he owed, which Salmen Insurance Services had fronted the money in good faith that his deposit payment would go through, and the payment went through.  Again, this deposit payment was fronted by Salmen Insurance Services, which acted in good faith that Mr. [redacted]’s credit card payment would be valid so we could get reimbursed.
In regards to Mr. [redacted]’s claim that someone representing Salmen Insurance called him on 11/5/2015 requesting payment is simply not true.  This call was probably from the finance company alerting Mr. [redacted] that his first monthly finance payment that was due on 10/23/2015 (30 days after the effective date of his General Liability policy) was past due.  Moreover, the finance company has stated at no time did Mr. [redacted] tell them that he had no insurance.  At no time did Mr. [redacted] say that he wanted his policy canceled or not bound in the first place, either verbally or in writing.

Attached (3 attachments) you will find the General Liability quote signed (first 2 attachments) by Mr. [redacted], which clearly stated directly below the “DEPOSIT” amount “THE DEPOSIT IS NON REFUNDABLE UPON INCEPTION OF POLICY.” Also, the Payment Authorization form filled out, dated and signed is attached (3rd attachment), again by Mr. [redacted], dated 9/23/2015.

Lastly, we would like to rebut the last part of Mr. [redacted]’s complaint sent to you, the Revdex.com, that [redacted] mocked him and was argumentative when [redacted] called Mr. [redacted] back.  Mr. [redacted] first called in and spoke to [redacted] in our office on 11/9/2015 yelling at her demanding his money back.  Ms. [redacted] politely asked Mr. [redacted] to stop yelling at her and told him that she would have [redacted] call him back.  [redacted] called Mr. [redacted] back and explained that he owed the deposit to us since 9/23/2015 and we could not give him his money back since his General Liability policy had been effective since 9/23/2015.  He stated that he didn’t get the job that he claims he purchased the policy for and did not need it since he didn’t use it.  [redacted] then offered a comparable analogy of purchasing a car with Mr. [redacted]; that when you finance a car, you still have to make payments, even if you did not drive it.  Mr. [redacted] then began yelling at [redacted] and said he was going to come to our office in a threatening manner, then hung up.

In summation, we received written authorization from Mr. [redacted] to initiate an insurance policy on his behalf and to retain a deposit payment for said policy.  Additionally, the terms of the this agreement were also signed by Mr. [redacted].  Mr. [redacted]’s decision to stop answering phone calls because he decided later that he “did not need” the insurance, does not relieve him from the duties presented under the terms of the agreement.

We believe this e-mail response to Mr. [redacted]’s complaint will clear up any ill claims that he has made against our company, Salmen Insurance Services.  Thank you for your time in regards to this matter.
