In response to the customer's complaint, I would first like to point out that in years of business, Salon has never received a complaint to the Revdex.comWe pride ourselves on outstanding customer service as well as high quality hair services When the client came in the next day after she had gotten her hair permed, her hair looked as though she had simply slept on one side and it had been flattened more than the otherAll it needed was to be wet again and the curl would reactivate, as happens with any perm or curls when you sleep on themWe did however notice that there was a piece coming from the underneath in the back that looked much straighter than the rest and need to be re-permed in that one small section onlyIt is important to note that chemical hair treatments can be strongly affected by medications and the client did not inform us that she was medicated for depression and anxiety at any time, which could be a reason a small under piece did not curl Communicating with her was already extremely difficult as she had come in on the verge of hysterics and when we suggested that we could easily fix it for her, it pushed her into a full fledged tantrumBecause the majority of the hair was permed perfectly fine, and only one small piece needed to be put back into a roller, we felt that fixing it was the best option for herWe wanted her to be 100% happy with her hairBut when we offered this she wouldn't listen and said that she would devote as much time and energy into negatively "blasting" us over social media as possibleAt this point it became clear that she was unreasonable and determined to make the worst out of a situation that could have been handled in a much less stressful and dramatic way We would still like to fix this client's hair if given the opportunityDuring the entire interaction my staff as well as myself offered apologies that she was unhappy as well as offered to fix her hair immediatelyI do not feel that she was given unprofessional service or that the condition of her perm that day warranted this kind of response from her Thank you, [redacted] Owner Salon

First of all, I did not go into hysterics at the store. There is a difference between being emotional and being hysteric. Second, maybe if the Salon had just provided me with a refund, instead of constantly trying to push their services upon me again, I would not have gotten upset and felt that the only way I would be heard, and made sure other people would not encounter the same fate as myself, would be through public social media. If you look at reviews on [redacted], there too are many people who have actually experienced worse than myself, but most likely did not feel like they could do anything. Well, I want to speak up for the individuals who have experienced unprofessional and rude service from Salon 56. Salon 56 should be ashamed of themselves and how they treat their customers. The need a lesson in the etiquette of providing proper customer service. Lastly, it was not a tiny portion of my hair that was not permed and wetting it would not fix the issue. I think that places like Salon 56 have not been reported to the Revdex.com before because many people are not knowledgeable about how to advocate for themselves. If Salon 56 was such a wonderful Salon, why are they not listed in the Revdex.com with a high grade?
