New JerseySingles is responding to Ms***’s rejection of our previous response Ms [redacted] states that her complaint is not ofthe service provided but it is the quality of the matches First, wewould like to start by saying that New Jersey Singles would like to continue towork with Ms [redacted] to make this a successful membership for her We feel strongly that with feedback and openlines of communication with ***, they can fine-tune and turn this experiencearound We want nothing more than forher to be happy and we would like to help her meet her ‘special someone’ Since Ms[redacted] is questioning the quality of the matches, here is a brief overview ofthe gentlemen that she was matched withEach of these gentlemen are successful, financially secure, active,intelligent, caring gentlemen looking to find their someone ‘special’ They are hard working, honest men with goodmorals and values Two of them haveMaster’s Degrees and the other two have Bachelor’s Degrees They all have varied interests that are verymuch in line with what Ms [redacted] is looking for Ms [redacted] likes sports, dining out, takingwalks, the beach, travel and hiking Likeherself, they too have similar interests as well as an interest in culturalactivities and the arts There seems tobe an issue with Ms [redacted] questioning the occupation of one gentleman inparticular His profile indicates thathe is an Engineer for an airline and Ms [redacted] is stating that he is amechanic Our records also reflect thathe has a degree in Engineering We wouldnever intentionally mis-represent any of our Members One gentleman is self employed, another is aDirector of Sales and then another is VP of a very prestigious firm that we arenot at liberty to divulge since that is personal and confidential Every one of these men earn in the sameballpark as Ms [redacted] or more Perhapsher definition of ‘quality’ is somewhat different than ours New Jersey Singles is not looking to arguewith Ms***, we truly would like to work this out to make her happy The best solution is for Ms [redacted] to discussanything that is on her mind with [redacted] and together they can resolve thesematters.Ms [redacted] isstating that if we are a reputable company then why would we not provide herwith a refund? In addition she isquestioning the reason for the contract as she feels it is restrictive The Membership Agreement is as much for herbenefit as it is ours The agreed uponterms are outlined very clearly so that the Member is aware of exactly whatservices they will be receiving Ms[redacted] signed and initialed the Membership Agreement in several places, thusindicating that she read, understood and agreed with the terms She absolutely knew that there were norefunds Her credit card receipt thatshe signed, also indicated that there were no refunds In addition, the Interview QualityQuestionnaire asked if she was given adequate time to read and understand theagreement and she said “yes” Ms***also said “yes” when asked if she was sufficiently explained the cancellationand non-refundable clause.Inconclusion, New Jersey Singles would like to work ‘together’ with Ms [redacted] tohave this Membership work for her In ourlast response, we offered to add another referral for the gentleman that shechose not to meet That offer stillremains We request that when Ms***is ready to resume her Membership with New Jersey Singles, that she call ***to review her profile and voice her concerns [redacted] will be very happy toassist her

New JerseySingles received this complaint in which Ms [redacted] is requesting a refund It is evident that we have worked diligentlywith Ms [redacted] to help her find her ‘special someone’ We feel that with continued feedback and openlines of communication she can be very successful with our Service.Ms***went in to our Hackensack, NJ office on 8/19/2014, and after an in-depth meetingwith our Counselor, ***, decided to become a Member of New Jersey Singles.The next day, Ms [redacted] received a welcome call from us and the first referralwas sent to her on 8/25/According to the feedback that Ms [redacted] gave us,she met this gentleman but was not interested in pursuing things further She did say that she liked talking to him onthe telephone, he was talkative, upbeat, nice and casual and had similar viewpoints The next referral was [redacted] Ms [redacted] refused to meethim because she said he is a mechanic [redacted] happens to be a great guy, is professional, financiallysecure and had a lot in common with Ms***This gentleman has a College Degree and is an Airline Engineer Nevertheless, and to promote good will, wewere happy to add a referral in its place and we sent her another referral named***, that very same day We have notheard back from Ms [redacted] with her feedback on ***, which is required per theterms of the Membership Agreement Paragraph 3f reads, “You the Member, arerequired to provide written feedback within business days of the receipt ofeach introduction Written feedback isrequired and essential to the performance of this agreement.” ***, was a great ‘match’ for Ms*** He was years old, educated, bright,divorced, successful, financially secure and they have a lot of the sameinterests Since we did not receive anyfeedback from Ms***, we have no way to know whether or not they met On 9/10/we sent Ms [redacted] anintroduction named [redacted] Ms***gave us feedback that they met but he was not active and there was noattraction Chemistry is the one thingwe cannot guarantee, but strive for Per paragraph4a of the Membership Agreement that was initialed and signed by Ms***,indicating that she read and agreed with the terms, “EXCEPT WHAT IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RESCINDTHIS AGREEMENT New Jersey Singles doesnot grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind, unless otherwise statedin this agreement.” Additionally, the credit card receipt signed by Ms***indicates, “NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES” Beforeleaving the Hackensack office, Ms [redacted] completed and signed an “InterviewQuality Questionnaire” Question numberwas, “Were you given adequate time to read and understand your membershipagreement?” and her answer was “yes”Ms [redacted] also responded to question with a “yes” when she was askedif she was sufficiently explained the cancellation and non-refundableclause Afterreviewing Ms***’s Membership it is evident that we have been working withher to make her happy New JerseySingles continues to be ready and eager to fulfill the terms of the MembershipAgreement The Agreement states thatthere is to be a total of twelve (12) introductions We have graciously agreed to add another forthe gentleman that she chose not to meetTherefore, there is now or introductions remaining, depending onwhether or not she met *** New JerseySingles feels that Ms [redacted] could be truly happy with her Membership and wealready have someone in mind for her When she is ready to resume her Membership, wewould need her feedback on [redacted] and ask that Ms [redacted] call [redacted] in theHackensack office, who will be very happy to assist her

New Jersey Singles is responding to a complaint submitted by Mr*** *** It will be evident from our response that Mr*** has been receiving the service that he has contracted for. We would like to continue to work with him to help him find his ‘special someone’ and feel that with
feedback and open lines of communication, this can be accomplished Mr*** went in to our Hackensack, NJ office on 6/24/2015, and after an in-depth meeting with our Counselor, Joyce, he decided to become a Member of New Jersey Singles. On 6/we called Mr*** to welcome him and we e-mailed a welcome letter as well. When the first introduction was sent to Mr***, he did not want to meet her because of her religion. When Mr*** became a Member, he signed a profile card outlining his preferences. On this card it stated that he would date other religions and nothing was mentioned about his not wanting to date someone that is ***. This is not a problem and Mr***’s preferences were changed, but there was no way for us to know prior to this The next introduction, Ashley, was a great match for Mr***. After speaking to her on the phone, he decided not to meet her. According to paragraph 3b of the Membership Agreement, which was initialed and signed by Mr***, indicating that he read and agreed with the terms, “An introduction counts against the Membership once the member receives the name and contact information of another member, whether orally or in writing.” Mr*** did not meet his next introduction stating that she was outside of his preferences. According to paragraph 3c of the Membership Agreement, “Preferences are used as a guideline for Membership services when seeking potential introductions. As introductions are based on an AS-AVAILABLE basis, introductions will be made that are as nearly compatible to a member’s preferences at any given time.” Additionally, Mr*** read and signed an Addendum in which paragraph states, “My signature below verifies that I understand that my preferences are “preferences” and not “requirements.” If at any time New Jersey Singles in unable to select an introduction who fulfills all of my preferences, New Jersey Singles will select an introduction who is compatible with my preferences but who may not meet all of the preferences I indicated in my profile.” The introduction was year older than he preferred since the age range he requested was 25-32. The feedback given by Mr*** regarding this referral said that the match was excellent as far as personality and he said they were keeping in touch The next introduction told Mr*** that she was in a relationship. This is something we cannot know unless the Member tells us. We are sorry that happened and we have replaced that introduction. As Mr*** noted in his statement to the Revdex.com, he met the next introduction and said, “she was a good match but I wasn’t attracted to her.” Chemistry is the one thing we cannot predict but always strive for. In fact, Mr*** went out with this referral twice Per paragraph 4a of the Membership Agreement, initialed by Mr***, EXCEPT WHAT IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT. New Jersey Singles does not grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind, unless otherwise stated in this agreement.” Additionally, the credit card receipt, signed by Mr*** stated, “NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES” Before leaving the Hackensack office, Mr*** completed and signed an “Interview Quality Questionnaire”. He answered “Yes” to questions and asking if he was given adequate time to read and understand the Membership Agreement and also if the provisions regarding cancellation and non refundable fees were explained sufficiently to him. Mr*** answered “No” to question when asked if his counselor failed to explain any aspect of the membership In conclusion, Mr*** is well aware that there are no refunds, nor is one warranted. We have been working with him to help him find that someone special and will continue to do soIn his statement to the Revdex.com, Mr*** wrote, “I know I can’t get refund because of the contract I signed but I want to get qualiifed introduction that I paid for.” New Jersey Singles will be glad to continue with Mr***’s Membership and we would be happy to offer him the (three) remaining introductions. We request that he contact Susin, the Manager of the Member Services Department to resume and fine-tune his Membership

I am rejecting this response because:
This compliant is not accurate and does not depict what actually transpired My primary compliant has nothing to do with their service in providing the matches (although this is lacking as well) it has to do with the quality of the matches ( and the fact that there were misrepresentations on of matches) and the quality of their database (match was recycled) Furthermore as explained to the matching folks and *** from Hackensack, it wasn't that he was a mechanic that I was concern is that his profile misrepresented him as an 'engineer' When I did a quick google search it revealed mechanic on google Additionally if *** feels so strongly about this, why didn't she call me to explain the dfferencecs in Sept but waited until the third time I was asking for my money to actually have a conversation?I should have never signed that agreement as I have never signed something so restrictive in the past My gut told me this was not a reputable company (why would they need that type of agreement) but I was lured by the appeal of their representative of the quality of their matches and the fact the properly sell their Revdex.com rating (which is why I am coming to your organization first).Finally, if NJ Singles is a reputable firm who stand behind their quality, why not provide the refund and why not go into a business relationship without such a negative penalizing contract?I would also like to request to see the compliants from the other individuals filed with your organization Are they similar?

PJ's was called in summer of 2015 to fix a loud vibrating noise on our 2-year old refrigerator. They were sent by our refrigerator warranty insurance company. They took weeks to get back to me to schedule appointments and in the end, after coming THREE times over several months to diagnose the problem, they replaced the fridge motor two times with two different motors. Since the noise continued, they admitted they had misdiagnosed the problem. They then suspected it was the FREEZER motor that needed replacement. They said they would order it and let me know when it came in but I had not heard from them in weeks again despite attempting to call them to leave messages. In the end, they said I should call another company as they had "used the newly ordered freezer motor on someone else's refrigerators and couldn't get another one ( on a 2yr old fridge???). I would never recommend them!

I am rejecting this response because:- I do not want to work with [redacted].  It states with open and honest communication with [redacted] in their response.  [redacted] have had open communications with me until the third time I called the head office and finally spoke with a supervisor requesting reimbursement.  I told them that at the time and I don't know now what she would have to offer.  - If you read my compliant, the quality of matches concern has to do with the untruths told to me and on the profiles sent to me.  It has nothing to do with financial or social status.  Additionally they matched me with the same guy twice after I declined the first time.  Very poor quality control.- Lastly, they are right about one thing.  I should HAVE NEVER signed the contract.  My gut told me that when I was there and [redacted] 'talked' me into it.  I should have taken it with me and thought about.  I restate my words in the initial letter, if NJ Singles is a respectable business, they would offer a refund.  Also can you please send me the 3 other compliants filed on the Hackensack NJ singles?  When I was there [redacted] boasted about her rating with Revdex.com.  I was very surprised to read there were 3 compliants (again shame on me for not checking).
