Please note this complaint / reviewer is known in the industry to complain about services and demand refunds in an attempt to scam companies out of money, based on discussions with other hair stylist she has an established track record of doing so. Please note that we have been in business for
over years without a single incident. So please take this review/complaint with a grain of saltEveryone’s hair pulls color differently, this was explained to her at the beginning of her appointment. Her hair turned out beautiful, but she still wasn’t happy with her results so we bent over backwards and discussed with her at length options to take it a shade lighter (free of charge). A very simple and easy fix and we were happy to do it. It soon became clear that she wasn't looking to fix her hair at all and was just seeking a refund by any means necessary (including beginning a documented campaign of threatening the salon). After she started attacking the salon on social media we decided it was in our best interest to sever our relationship with her

I am rejecting this response because: Our agreement was(and I have proof between the owner and I via text message) that I would receive a refund because while my hair wasn't awful it wasn't what I had paid for. The owner never followed through with the refund that she had said she would honor. I deny the allegations that I'm out to scam the industry. I have never asked for a refund from anyone I have ever gotten my hair colored from. In this instance I refused for her to fix it because she seemed hesitant when I spoke with her in person on how to lighten it in a way it wouldn't "warm up" or damage my hair from a bleach wash. I didn't want another mistake from this salon so I chose to ask for a refund and go elsewhere. I also deny that I was warned before coloring my hair that it would be so dark. My hair color reflects that it's clearly not a light brown but rather a dark auburn color. If the owner refuses to give me a $90 refund then I think at the least other customers should be informed of her behavior in bad customer service and questionable integrity.
