The complaint is dated October 6, -the same day Becker Furniture Service went to the customer's home for acomplete examination of the furniture and provided a written report datedOctober 7, (a copy of their report is attached) The fact that the same problem has resurfaced is extremely disconcerting - areview of this particular style of furniture covered in the same leatherrevealed that since we have sold of the same sofas (this does notinclude love seats, chairs, recliners, sectionals and ottomans in the samestyle and leather) We have not had problems like this with anyof these other orders Yet after ourcustomer service manager, [redacted] , persuaded the manufacture to replace theoriginal sofa for this customer (replacement delivered earlier this year) –they are again having the same problemsSo while we’ve had no previous problems of this kind and now, afterreplacing the original sofa for this customer, we have the same problem again withthe same customerI think anyone would agree this is very, very unusual.Which brings us to the Becker's report (attached) - the Becker's areindependent furniture technicians who do repairs and inspection for a number offurniture retailers and are fully qualified to make an honest evaluation of thefurniture in question The report singles out every item the customerpurchased from Choice Leather and offers their professional opinion on eachNowhere in the report is there any mention of any defects in materials orworkmanship by the manufacturer The report mentions wear andcustomer abuse The Becker's also included a number of photos in theirinspection report that show a sofa that has been used in a very hard manner andwith little or no maintenance performed.Regarding the optional leather protectionthat was purchased and referred to in the complaint – the customer was providedwith a copy of the warranty when they received the furniture The optional protection covers stains ordiscoloration caused by anything a person would eat or drink, ink, crayons,etcIt also covers accidental burns, punctures or tears This warranty covers accidents It does not cover wear and tear or thelack of maintenance An exampleof this would be the buildup that comes from body oils or where a person’s headrests on the back cushion – it was noted in a previous report that there was anexcessive build up where the head rests that any attempt to correct this wouldnot be effective because it had not been cleaned often enough to remove the buildup The effects (and build up) of body oils, hairoils or other chemicals, that might be on clothing for example, is not coveredunder any warranty in the furniture industry.Reading the Becker’s report and viewingtheir photos - and after reviewing photos of the sofa that Mrs [redacted] was ableto get the manufacturer to replace with a new sofa earlier this year - everyindication is that the issues in question (including the first sofa) are normalwear resulting from very hard use and a lack of necessary maintenance.Here are the facts– We’ve sold nearly of the same sofasand have not had a single problem of this nature, yet this customer has had itTWICEBecker Furniture Service report statesonly wear and tear and customer abuse.However, in an effort to leave no stoneun-turned – I am agreeable to sending the original sofa back to the manufacturerfor a complete inspection and evaluation in the factory where the furniture hasbeen manufactured (the original sofa is still at our delivery service’swarehouse and obviously from the pictures has the same issues) We would review and share their findingsI have great respect for the Becker’s knowledgeand understanding of furniture and leather but would, at my expense, take thisextra to step

Greetings -We are agreeable to send a leather technician (not the Becker's) to do touch up on the leather on the sofa.Additionally we will request that the factory send us new seat cores (the foam part) for the sofa We will have another technician change them out once they arrive from factory We will do all this at our expense - We ask that you please advise the leather technician as to the issues with the cleaning you have had so he can advise you specifically what to do and not to do going forward.Once we are advised by the Revdex.com that this is accepted we will move forward on having a leather technician contact you for an appointment and will order the seat cores for the sofa.Just to clarify - The manufacturer's warranty on leather is one year So, without any support from the manufacturer (and based on the findings in Becker Furniture Service's report) we will not be able to address any additional out of warranty issues or issues that are considered wear and tear and/or abuse, beyond the service we are agreeable to do now (listed above)Also, regarding the optional protection you purchased from Guardian that covers accidents - it is for years, please read your warranty to know specifically what it covers (and does not cover) and the particulars you must adhere to (including the time allowed to report a covered incident) when filing a claim with Guardian Any Guardian claims must be filed directly with Guardian.As stated in my previous response, we have sold almost of the same sofas in the same leather over a year period and have had almost no issues (none regarding the leather coloring) Artistic Leather makes a very good productto carry in our stores

The bike was stolen outside of our store front and checking our cameras will not do anything for the stolen bike

Hello, I have received a letter that my hair salon was turned into youI have tried to resolve this matter and it can't be resolved with the person who is doing thisThis is a Joke[redacted] *** [redacted] She called me to get her hair turned from a really dark brown to changing and streaking a white blonde in itI told her it will be a process to do itIt will fry her hair to do it all in one settingafter blow drying it after bleaching her out it needed another setting but if you ask any hairstylist you will fry her hair With a customer in the other chair waiting I asked her to wait 5-days She scheduled the apptfor her and her boys to come inShe brought her boys in She said she did not have time to do hers that dayAgain I had people in my salon who heard her say thisShe then went home and started texting me messages saying she hates her hairI explained I would fix it..Then she taunted me all night with demanding her money backI agreed Then she left me a bad review so I asked her why she would do that she said she would take down the review if I paid her $The service I gave her a huge discount of my $and only charged her $because I felt sorry for her, not working and allShe just got her girls taken away from her and lost custody and her boys are being taken from her alsoI gave her a break..My mom then messaged her to stop with the nonsense of taking the review and changing it over and over to scare me to pay her..We then took all of her threats to the police which the States Attorney will verify she has several of these on her for harassing people.She then turned me into you guysThe police and my attorney advised me to not refund her $nor give her the $which is blackmail to take down the review she left me if I don't pay her ..I can forward it all to you, but honestly this is all a waste of your time and mineIt is very sad and I hope she gets the help she needs very soonI am sick about all thisI also have the ladies that were in the salon when I told he it could not be that white from black in settingI Also have a lady who was in my salon when she came in days later to get her boys hair cut and told me she didn't have time to do hersWhy would she come back in days later and give me money for her boys haircuts if she was angry afterIt makes no senseBut our whole community know how she is and it is so sad.Also I have heard of other salons she has done this to and demanded money backShe is a Con ArtistLeft them bad reviews and did threatened them also..I am attaching the text she sent my mom demanding $also plus all the harassments on facebook where she kept taunting me with the reviews until I paid herPlease let me know if you have any other questions [redacted] OwnerSalon

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:As I stated in my initial complaint, I didn't realize how bad my hair really was until I washed and straightened it the next evening, Saturday, before work At that time, I contacted a stylist at [redacted] 's and made an appointment for the next day, Sunday Being that the owner of the salon suggested to the stylist that bleach looked "too thick" while my hair was being processed with it it and didn't evaluate the stylist's work at that time, I didn't feel comfortable going back to that salon to have the issue resolved Plus, they were closed Sunday and I had work at my full time job on that Monday, where I wouldn't have been able to cover up my hair When I had the conversation with the owner of Salon, via [redacted] , on Sunday when I was at [redacted] 's I sent her pictures of my hair, as a result from Friday, at which time she stated that she would have opened to accommodate me As previously stated in this letter and my original complaint, I didn't expect an immediate response back and didn't feel like anyone else at Salon would have been capable of correcting my hair, so I went somewhere, [redacted] 's, where I knew, as in the past, did a good job I then asked her for a refund, or at least enough to cover my current bill from [redacted] 's Salon, which was denied The owner stated she does not give refunds, which I took as not even for what I spent in her place of business at Salon I did advise her to make sure that her employees are trained properly because no one, including myself, wants to spend that much time and/or money for a salon serviceAt that time the conversation ended, via [redacted] , and I attempted to write a review on Salon's [redacted] page, which I was now blocked from For the owner stating that she has never received a bad review, it makes me wonder since I was blocked from writing one myself I feel that I should have been able to express my experience at the salon, which would have encouraged an open dialogue with both myself and the owner Now, for the $I put down, that was for the Revdex.com asking how much I spent for services, which I did The Revdex.com also asked how much I was seeking to claim back, however I left that blank I do not know the breakdown of the amount I spent for services and products I do know that the amount included a $tip as well I was leaving that up to the owner if she decided to resolve this matter Since the original complaint to the Revdex.com, I paid an additional $at [redacted] 's Salon for another session to tone my hair, since the brassy/orange color caused by Salon was coming through again Regards, [redacted]
