I [redacted] called Dr. Globulows office in w.r. Ga. to seek treatment for an absessed tooth on 12/9/2015 and root canal to be done asap. I spoke to [redacted] and told her I have [redacted] available on my ins. she reviewed my ins, with [redacted] and said your treatment will cost [redacted] and we must have [redacted] dollars to treat you today. I had previously told here I had 2 root canals done 3 mos. ago by him and after my [redacted] in network discount and ins. covering 80 percent the fees for both teeth were [redacted] dollars after ins. and those two molars were more difficult according to Dr. Globulow, and this tooth is in the front no, 20, and he said it could require a root canal in future and would be slightly less. She was firm and rude, and said Im soooo sorry but we must have the [redacted] dollars before we treat you. I was upset and crying on the phone with her during the end of the conversation, she said we cannot work with you unless its paid in full. My husband overheard the end of the phone call, and immediately called the office back.
I [redacted] called the office back and the receptionist answered the phone. I repeatedly asked her about the financial obligations my wife stated earlier, and [redacted] verified it with me, Stating firmly and rudely to me that your wife can have her dentist extract you tooth and it would be cheaper if its giving her that big of a problem. OK, after hearing this I was getting upset, because I can see my wife was being truthful about the receptionists lack of professionalism, rudeness and lacking compassionate about care towards her, I then hung up the phone. The office tried calling back and we missed the call, I then called back and [redacted] answered and I stated I am the husband of [redacted] and Im returning the previous call. [redacted] said well she is busy on the phone and she will call you back, I hung up. I [redacted] called back again 5 minutes later and [redacted] said ok, we will require you to pay [redacted] dollars or if its that bad her dentist call pull her tooth. How the ladies addressed my wifes problem is poor business, unprofessional and unacceptable. I would like this report to be listed as a review by Revdex.com for potential customers to view, and would like the Revdex.com to contact Dr, Globulow to address what he needs to do to address the unprofessional conduct of his employees so this will not happen again. He also needs to address the employees poor attitude, poor people skills, and their lack of compassionateness towards my wife about pulling the tooth.
