Our company takes our client's satisfaction very seriouslyWe are sorry to hear that Mr [redacted] has yet to find success through our service and would like to work with Mr [redacted] with the hope of moving forward in a positive manor.Unfortunately, Mr [redacted] makes some completely outrageous claims that simply aren't true and quite frankly are defamatoryWe certainly do not "phish" for any information on the internetWe guard our members privacy and secure private information with the highest security standardsHis claim that our actions are "tantamount to identity theft" is clearly a defamatory statement.Furthermore, we have never conducted business in the state of TexasWe believe Mr [redacted] is referring to Attorney General action against Lone Star Introductions which was a part of International Dating Ventures out of Norwell MassachusettsTheir entire company shut down in We have no affiliation with either companyIn fact, we took in many of their members, free of charge, when they closed their doorsThis was simply an attempt on our part to be good stewards in our industryOur company was founded in Tulsa, OK in where our corporate office is locatedOur parent company has locations in states, and our matchmaking center is located in Sacramento CAWe do provide our clients with local numbers so they do not incur any charges when they call usWe also make no claim to be Revdex.com accredited as quite frankly, we feel it unnecessary to pay for accreditationAt this point in his membership, Mr [redacted] has received introductionsThe first two women he met he informed us that he would see them againAlthough he did not meet his recent two matches, we informed Mr [redacted] about our matchmaking guarantee on August Our matchmaking guarantee states that we will review his membership upon completion and decide which matches, if any, should be extended to him on a complimentary basisOur cancellation policy is stated clearly on the contract under the bold heading CANCELLATION and allows for full cancellation without cost or obligation by midnight of the third business dayTherefor, Mr [redacted] 's membership is not eligible for cancellation or refund at this timeWe will contact Mr [redacted] and do everything we can to assist him in his concerns

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This Co is not honest and does not provide honest informationThey have done nothing to resolve anything about what a rip- off they are and have only attempted to make it appear that they are a reputable coThey are not reputable or honesty and now admit that they can buy a rating from the Revdex.com, if that is the case then how come they are not accredited with a good rating? No they are not accredited and have a D rating not an A rating as they claimIf there is any defamation it is coming from Matchmakers and all the lies they have willingly given out to deciveI woud like to include the others that have complained to the Revdex.com in a complaint to the Utah State Attorney Generals Office, concerning what a Fraud and Ripp of this Co isAlso far for three one hour dates, it has cost me $per hourIf that is not a ripp off then I don't know what is.I was not at all compatible with any of these three woman, who were not attractive and were overweightI did not request this and they do not allow you to see picturesThey would not have others complaining about them as well and there are many others that have and are complaining about what a Riip off Matxchmakers isThey have done nothing to resolve anything with me and have only harassed me and threatened me if I am succesful in getting a refund that they will turn me over for collections and a qwhole lot of harassment including tring to ruin my Excellent credit ratingIf this Co was honest I would not be complaining, but they are not honest and they are as far as I am concerning a SCAM just like the Matchmakers that was in Terxas that was kicked out of Texas and required to make restitutions to tose they ripped offThis Co is full of lip service and that is about all you can expect from themThey don't fullfill what they say and what you are paying forI am totally dissatisfied with Matchmakers and what a ripp off it is until I have a refund in hand and I will not due busness withMatchmakers again becasue of there fradulent claims and refusal to give a refund Even when they are in violation of Utah Law that protects consumers from being SCAMMEDObviously they will not get my point until I file a complaint with ther Utah Attorney Generals Office and that will ne my next action to expose this Co for what a Ripp off they are snd get a refund along with the others that have been ripped off by Matchmakers Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The service is not as their Client Representative has describedEach time I have received a match I have had to call the service to ask why it has been so long that I have waited to hear from themOnce I call, all of a sudden there is a match for meAdditionally, the matchmakers are not professionalsThey have, on three occasions, matched me with people who have had qualities that I explicitly said were not acceptable (smoking, didn't want kids, hunted)Each time I mentioned this and they said that they would not do it againI have complained three times to a "manager" when I have called and asked who I should speak to about my bad experience, so their comment about not speaking to a manager is untrueNot receiving a refund is unacceptableThis service is fraudulent and unacceptably awful Sincerely, [redacted]

We are eager to resolve any concerns Ms [redacted] has about her membershipWe take these issues very seriouslyWhile we cannot guarantee the outcome of our client's membership, we do work hard to improve our client's experience Our Matchmaking Department works as a team and is fully staffed with a variety of employees that are eager to assist her including our Matchmaking Manager and our Customer Service Director However, it is imperative that Ms [redacted] direct any problems or complaints to the right department Ellen is our enrollment specialist and her job is to meet with potential new clients interested in our service As the Customer Service Director it is my job to address any problems or concerns with matchmakingWe cover this issue clearly in the Important Facts sheet covered with Ms [redacted] the day she joined It states "Our New Client Advisers spend most of their time interview new clients for you and our other members to meet Once a member, your membership will be serviced by the Matchmaking department and the Administration Team at Salt Lake City Matchmakers Our Matchmaking headquarters is located in Sacramento, California where our team of Professional Matchmakers is dedicated to helping you find the right person to share your life with Please direct all questions regarding your membership to our Matchmaking Department They will be happy to help you." On May 15th, when Ms***'s Matchmaker learned that she had not met her introduction, we quickly worked on another match and presented it to her on May 24, which she declinedAs it states in the terms of membership, when selecting a match for you, the Company will select from its available pool of members who, in its sole opinion, most closely fits your profileIt also states that a client can decline any match offered to them without it counting toward their paid introductionsOur membership has been successful for over years because of the feedback process that we rely on to get to know our clientsWe do not match solely based on the color of someone's hair, we match based on compatibility and lifestylesWhile each match may not result in a long lasting relationship, every introduction is an opportunity for our Matchmakers to learn about what attributes would be best for you.We are responsible for facilitating an introduction of our members Our members must be responsible for following through with the phone calls and meetings as well as expressing interest or disinterest in one another I cannot count the number of times someone has told us they weren't interested in meeting someone, only to go forward with meeting them and ending up married to that person We work with mature adults and expect them to communicate with one another in a mature and reasonable fashion.Ms***'s membership is not eligible for cancellation or refundOnce we were made aware of this issue, we reached out to her today and had a lengthy conversation about how to move forward with our serviceWe are hopeful that this will resolve any concerns about our Matchmaking process

As stated in her complaint, Ms [redacted] has been working with a member of our team that is providing her the best service possibleMs [redacted] gave feedback on June stating that he was "amazing"She also declined a match on July Our team is doing our best to ensure each match makes sense with her requirementsAs it states in the new client paperwork Ms [redacted] received upon enrollment, generally our Personal Matchmaking Team selects a new match for you to meet every 3-weeks after receiving feedback from youMatches may come sooner or later, depending on your matching requirements and a potential match's availability.As stated previously, Ms***'s cancellation period has past and she is not due for cancellation or refundWe have currently selected a match for her that meets her requirements and will be reaching out to her

We received the following message from the business regarding your complaint: We are sorry to hear that Ms. [redacted] is unhappy with her membership. It is important that we communicate with our clients and work together to improve their experience. While we can not guarantee any certain outcome,... our company goes to great lengths to increase our client's odds of success. Our professional matchmaking team is made up of talented, caring, highly trained matchmakers who are eager to assist their clients in achieving their relationship goals. With countless success stories and marriages, our program has proven to work when used the way it was designed. Our matchmakers learn about their clients after each date when crucial feedback is provided. Unfortunately, Ms. [redacted] has declined 6 matches for various reasons including distance, education, children, all of which she claimed to be open to on her profile. Of the three introductions Ms. [redacted] has accepted, she has provided positive feedback. The feedback on her first match was that he was nice looking, tall, very kind and polite and she would see him again. The improvements provided were that there was a lacking in chemistry and he was a bit too quiet. She stated she would see her second match again and that he was interesting, shared good conversation and that he was very easy to talk to. She was unsure of chemistry and preferred someone more active. Her most recent introduction was courteous, ambitious, interesting and although he was pleasant, she was not interested in seeing him again. She stated that there were no improvements otherwise. Our company is very forthcoming about what we offer. Ranging from our contract, to the paperwork provided upon enrollment, to the matchmaking team that is available 6 days a week, it is important that each client has an understanding of what our service provides. If even after all of that, Ms. [redacted] felt "pushed and uniformed" about the membership, she also had three business days to cancel her services with no obligation and a full refund. As of now, Ms. [redacted] 's matchmaker has hand selected a match. We are hopeful that she will accept out match and move forward with the membership the way it was designed. At this point, Ms. [redacted] 's membership is not eligible for cancellation or refund. She has never had the opportunity to speak with our manager so if she would like to, we will have the manager follow up to see how we can further improve her experience. Our program offers relationship minded singles a safe avenue to meet other relationship minded singlesIt is our commitment to our clients that we offer our program to everyone that qualifies for our serviceThis means that we are singing up new singles every dayWe are not able to predict when a
client will acheive their relationship goals. With this industry experience, as well as our understanding of the dating process, we have designed a feedback based process that allows our matchmakers communication with our clients and a deeper understanding of what they are looking for.Mr*** gave us feedback on his first match stating she was a very happy person, easy going, beautiful and shared a great conversationHis second introduction was unavailable to meet right away, so he decided not to meet herHe chose to look up his third introduction on social media and refused to meet her as wellOn March 9th, Mr*** gave us feedback on his 4th match stating she was cute, sweet and that he would see her againAfter that, we continued our matching process and hand selected a number of matches for himBetween April and May, Mr*** declined matches for a variety of reasonsWhen he finally accepted a match on June 16, he neglected to provide any feedback on the outcome of that introduction, therefor per our policy outlined in our paperwork, his membership went inactiveAlthough his membership was inactive, we attempted to reach out to Mr*** and left messages on September 12, 13, and 17thWe also sent an email to himWe have not heard back. When Mr*** enrolled, he indicated that he may be open to a match that wanted to have children, was flexible on age as well as marital statusSince then, he has narrowed his preferencesWhile we respect our client's requests and preferences, we also inform our clients of any match that we feel confident aboutAs it states in our paperwork, our clients have the ability to approve or decline any match presented to them. We would like for Mr*** to know that our company was founded in Tulsa, OK in where our corporate office is locatedOur parent company has locations in states, and our matchmaking center is located in Sacramento CA. We have attempted to resolve this clients concerns multiple times. We have even reached out to him again on November 21 but we have not received a call back. If Mr. [redacted] would like to discuss his concerns further, we suggest he return our call so we can assist him.

I am rejecting this response because:Simply put, again, you are not providing the service I paid for.The feedback from the 1st date that I went on what the gentleman was amazing but there was no spark or chemistry there and I did not feel our lifestyles would align so I would like to move forward with finding another match. I also did not decline any match on the 17th of July as you are fraudulently stating, as previously stated I was given the option between 2 gentlemen and per your service you can only pick 1 at a time. I did not decline anyone to be clear I followed the guidelines you have provided to me are part of your “service”.In 13+ weeks as part of your service I have been on 1 date that is not holding up to your 3-4 weeks mentioned in your response. You have not provided me with the service I have paid for.Based on the complaints with Revdex.com, and the feedback I was given by the one gentleman that you have managed to match me with who stated, “I don’t think they listen at all when you tell them anything, I have stated numerous times it is a make or break for me that the person I am matched with be active and yet they keep matching me with people who are not active at all”. I will be reaching back out to the person I started working with at Get Gephardt when I filed the original complaint. You people should be ashamed of the way you prey on and take advantage of people.In regard to being beyond the cancellation period the only reason I did not continue to pursue my complaint back in June is I was a fool who gave your company a 2nd chance and the benefit of the doubt. I was willing to let you try 1 more time to provide me the service I paid for which you still are not providing. Please check your facts again and do not tell lies when you respond. I am sure anyone who sees these complaints can logically deduce that your service is a load of crap and it is weird how all the complaints are pretty much the same, yet you keep pointing to the consumer being the faulty party. This companies complete inability to take any responsibility or ownership is mind blowing. I would also ask if you had a match already then why am I hearing about it in response to a complaint? Convenient that you’ve managed to drum someone up now that I have reopened the complaint.
