We had heard terrible stories about building but took the plunge anyway. We are so glad we did. We told Tom what we were looking for and he designed a house for us, we reviewed it, and he made changes per our wishes. He even helped us locate a site. We could not be happier with our home or with Tom. We were able to rent a home about a quarter mile from the construction site so we were able to see it on a daily basis. Tom did many things above and beyond normal construction practices and he could not have been more caring or easy to work with. Quality man, quality construction at a very fair price. We were surprised at the quality of materials for the price (9' ceilings, flooring, granite, tile and wood flooring, stainless steel and more). We could not recommend him any higher. I guess no builder loves changes, but the few we had were implemented hassle free with no stress. If building a home, you owe to yourself to get a price from Tom.
