Customer received order on timeProper items were shippedOur garments are individually inspected and are made to exact measurements.Sales made through our publicly available exchange / return policiesGarment didn't fit and he just wanted to get an exception to our sales terms, and when we did
not, started to write multiple negative reviews across the board. We sell thousands of mil spec garments a month to happy customersUnfortunately, there will always be that one exception that thinks he should be given a particular special treatment, and if not, just threatens to leave negative feedbacks everywhere so that we bend to his demandBrian left two negative reviews, in addition to a complaint on Revdex.com, one on Facebook, one on Google BusinessOur return / exchange terms are clear and transparentWe are not interested in getting people return garments they wore to certain eventsOnce we accept the return and get garments back, we simply have no way to recover our losses, thus our policy

Customer ordered the wrong size garmentDid not like to have to pay restocking fees, as clearly listed in our exchange policiesOur garments are mil spec, certified, and made to measurements provided by the governmentIf customer measures incorrectly, then the garment would not fit

I included comparison pictures between the Officer Service Coat I purchased from Salute Industries and ones of my current enlisted coat purchased from *** that is made to MIL-SPEC standardsNotice how tight the buttons are on the Coat from Salute Industries verses the actual MIL-SPEC CoatThe buttons are so tight, I can't even push them through the button holesAdditionally, these two coats are the same size and there is a drastic difference in how they fit (the Coat from Salute Industries is far too big, doesn't taper through the mid-section and floats in the back of the jacket)I can send additional pictures as well, if needed, for clarification regarding my complaintsThey say they don't allow returns because people wear them and return them, but how could I possibly wear it with these sleeves?

I am rejecting this response because: the seller is dishonest.  The hats are not sized according to their own website specifications, and I have eyewitnesses (including a professional tailor) who attest to the discrepancy between their website instructions and the actual hat sizes.  The seller charged an exorbitant "restocking fee" and made me pay for shipping not once but FOUR times in a fruitless attempt to exchange and finally return the hat.  The seller even flat out lied about this in an email exchange saying they had "gone the extra mile to pay shipping" when they never one paid any of the shipping costs.   I have lost over $60 of my own money on shipping costs and have NOTHING to show for this transaction.  And all because this seller posts inaccurate information on their site, gives inaccurate instructions to their customers, and likely sells fraudulent items.  If it were worth the time, I would take them to small claims court for fraud, but obviously it's not worth the time over $60.  It really doesn't feel good to have wasted $60 on a scam though.   I can only hope this message serves as a warning to other potential customers to stay far, far away from these crooks.

I am rejecting this response because: Their response and reason for not allowing a return for a defective item are complete nonsense. Their website claims all of their items adhere to MILSPEC standards, but the Service Coat I want to return simply is not to standards (for reasons I listed on the complaint, and the company convienantly ignored on the response). I will continue to give bad reviews and my insights so that other service members don't get bamboozled by this company. Their business practices are corrupt at best.

Our hats are government approved mil spec. They are made to the exact specifications/measurements set by the government. We have a guide as to how to measure the head to get the correct hat measurement. We sell thousands of dress hats a year. If the taken measurements are incorrect, the hat will not...

fit. We helped this particular customer multiple times over the phone and online. We explained our return/exchange policy. She agreed to the terms, got a hat that didn't fit, exchanged (with the restocking fees, as stated in our store policies, and explained to her in recorded messages), got another hat that still didn't fit her. Instead of just "trying" different sizes, proper measurements should have been taken. There was no defect in product shipped, the returned hat was measured and is correctly sized. We have clear and transparent store policies, available on all pages of our website, in regards to returns/exchanges. Again, those were explained to her. We replied to every email/phone with her, and tried to guide her to properly measuring. She still has the hat, and also charged back on the transations, and does not respond to our calls trying to resolve this.
