My family and I hired Salzano Concrete to do our sidewalk around November They came and did their job but by the middle of January of 2018, my close friend came by to visit and noticed there were cracks and surface damage already appearing I did not believe her until a few days later when I had time I went to inspect the sidewalk and found out there were so many cracks and surface damages I contacted the Salzano Concrete and they informed me that their work is only day guarantee I've requested for them to repair the entire sidewalk but they refused by saying the work scope is only guaranteed for days They sent someone to fix one of the biggest surface damage a few days ago and it is a lot worse than it was before The hole that they filled in was poorly done because it looked as if they just slap the filler in without smoothing or shaping the filler The sidewalk does not look professionally done at all

Thank you for taking the time to submit your concerns to Revdex.com about the concrete project that we completed for you. I understand your concerns and complaints, but yes there are always 2 sides to the story. There are 2 issues, the hairline cracks and the golf ball size patch. We discussed the...

patch, and I completely agreed that was unusual and we would patch that area. We came out once and put the first layer and with recent weather conditions have not been able to put the final layer on yet. We left you a voice mail to explain, but you never responded. I am not sure why you would report to Revdex.com that we refused to fix that area when we discussed this and we told you we would fix that area.Regarding the cracks, again, not sure why you would report that we only offer 30 day warranty when the contract clearly states our 1-year warranty. The warranty also clearly states that random hairline cracks are to be expected, and further are common within the first 30 days, and that stray hairline cracks are not covered by warranty at all. Contract also states that you understand that concrete cracks and that random hairline cracks are not covered by warranty. Warrany is listed below. I’m also not sure why you would report that we refused to fix these issues. I told you we are working on the patch, and I also offered to fill the cracks. As I explained the cracks are so narrow there was no room for the filler. If they expand to 1/8 inch wide or so, happy to come back to insert that filler. You seemed to understand and agree when we met. Not sure why you would report differently to Revdex.com.When we met last week, I asked you, if you didn’t like the wording in our contract, why did you agree to contract with us and sign the contract. Why didn’t you question the contract details or simply not use us. You basically told me you felt the contract is meaningless and your opinion on these issues is more important. I’m really sorry you feel this way. The contract is there as our agreement to protect both us us. It is unforetuneate that you would sign the contract, then later declare it meaningless. Our warranty, as listed in our contract:“Concrete Limited Warranty. Concrete work carries a 1-year limited warranty that covers repair or replacement of concrete sections that develop cracks having a width of more than 1/4”. Repair or replacement of those sections will be performed at the discretion of Salzano Custom Concrete. To reduce the risk of random cracks, control and expansion joints are recommended and can be installed at the customer’s discretion. As part of the normal curing process, concrete may develop stray hairline cracks that are not covered under warranty. Cracks can occur at any time in the lifespan of the concrete and are common within the first 30 days. Customer acknowledges the inherent risk of concrete cracking and that visible hairline cracks are not covered under any warranty.”We will be back in touch to discuss further work on the small patch and still happy to insert the crack repair as we promised. You are asking for a complete refund which we do not think is appropriate. The concrete work we provided is in accordance with the details of our contract.Salzano Custom Concrete
