September 23, 2014In response to the complaint that we received, yes it is correct ** Landscaping (not ** Landscaping) purchased (5) Green Giant Arborvitae 6-trees from Sam Brown’s Wholesale Nursery on June 7, At the time of purchase the trees were in containers(which came
straight from our vendor as such) which were loaded onto ** Landscaping’s truckAt the time of planting, the landscaper would remove the containerThey were advised that there is NO warranty on any material bought hereThey accepted, signed and paid the invoice for the treesWe only sell trees and/or shrubs in containers or in burlapIt would be detrimental to the reputation of our company as well as the survival of ANY tree not to be in a container or balled and burlapedWe have been in business under my ownership for years and I can say with absolute certainty that no plant, tree, and or shrub has left this nursery that wasn't in a container or balled and burlapedWe have purchased these trees from the same vendor for over years and have sold similar trees this season to other customers and have not had any problemsThere are many reasons why the trees may have perishedOne is that the landscaper did not plant it correctlyAnother is that the homeowner, although stated that he watered it, may not have watered it properlyIt needs to be watered at the base not at the foliageAnother may be the location where the trees were plantedSince we do not know how, when, and where the trees were handled, planted and cared for once they left our Nursery, we can not be held responsible for what happens to the treesFor that reason, we do not offer any warranty.I hope this will resolve this matter.Sincerely,Tim S
