Before the delivery, she drove the vehicle overnightOn returning the next day she came in with a CD player that she
purchased privately from Walmart and asked if we could install it for herWe explained that this location had limited ability to do electrical/radio work, but would tryShe then had to go and purchase a bracket for said radioOur employee was not able to perform the job, so eventually we made arrangements to have *** in Bloomington where she resides handle the workWe are not 100% sure what transpired there, but the manager of the store relayed to us that she demanded a new CD and new speakers which were not part of our agreementHe then stated that due to their interaction with the customer, ***s would not do business with her and asked to be excused from the installationWe lastly agreed to cover $of the swap with another installer in BloomingtonTo our knowledge this was completed last Saturday 7/18/This far exceeded the expected promise to cover a simple radio swap and also covered some speaker replacement
The rear window latch was repairedWe attempted to have a local glass company perform the job, but it was past their expertiseWe scheduled an appointment with our sister store in Bloomington (*** Chevy City)who is an authorized GM dealerMs*** came into the store and again attempted to convince that department to cover things outside of the agreed upon latchIn order to promote customer satisfaction, we agreed to bypass *** head light switch and address an Air Conditioning issue, again exceeding our written promises
It is our position to try our best to promote customer satisfaction and in this instance we have done more than what any written agreement stated
If Ms*** has further concerns, she may contact the manager *** *** directly at the Pekin Auto StopWe request that only the legal owner of the vehicle contact the store
Summary of exact written & signed promises and final outcome of alterations approved by manager:
1) "Repair back window latch" (This was completed)
2) "Repair Headlight Switch" (This less than $repair was replaced with an A/C repair in excess of $400)
3) "Swap radios" (A simple hour labor charge was upgraded to a $purchase order to cover swap and some speakers)

I did not go into Chevy city and demand anythingThe only reason I went there was because the salesman skip told me to so they could fix everythingI have text messages to prove thatWhy would I tell them to fix something if skip didn't tell me toI can't believe this business is flipping the situation aroundI did not go to ziebart and demand a CD player and speakersI purchased my ownI didn't even know my back speakers didn't work until Chevy told meI didn't even ask Chevy to check themThis is the worst car business experience I have had and I will not purchase another vehicle from this placeThe facts are skip told me to go there I can't afford Chevy city prices so I did not just go there on my ownI have five kids and I just wanted to purchase a vehicle big enoughAnd I paid for my own speakers at the storeThis dealer is something elseNext time make sure stuff works in the car and don't tell the customer one thing and then when the general manager get involved point the finger at the customer
