I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedI Was told that I would have the return check for my car in Business days at the most! It has been Days and I have heard nothing nor seen any check [redacted] was nice enough to buy the car back, yes, but when I wanted to talk to him further about receiving my check he had me deal with other employeesI expect a check in the near future of my attourney will be the next one to deal withI will wait until Friday, February 20thRegards, [redacted] ***

In February 2015, I took my car to Sam Swope Chrysler Jeep, 5311 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY for service. When they failed to reinstall my tire properly, the tire fell off while I was driving and caused damage to my car. After the tire fell off, the car was towed back to the 5311 Dixie Highway dealership. [redacted], GM of that location, promised to pay for damages. However, the repair receipt I have lists the Swope dealership in Elizabethtown as the business that actually paid for some of the repairs. The phone number for this dealership, as listed on the receipt, is [redacted] Extension 154. When I dialed the phone number, a man named [redacted] spoke on the voice message machine. How did this Elizabethtown become involved in this matter? Did [redacted] actually have my car transferred to the Elizabethtown dealership to begin with, without my knowledge and consent? Thank you for notifying us of our customer’s dissatisfaction. We do our best to make sure vehicles are in good shape before we sell them, but pre-owned...

vehicles can still be unpredictable. In this particular case, the vehicle she purchased has had some unanticipated issues. I apologize on behalf of my staff for not communicating with her more throughout the time her vehicle was in service. I understand that this can be frustrating for anyone whose vehicle is in service for an extended period of time, and we are working toward improving as a team in this area.
I had hoped to find a better vehicle for our customer and make an exchange, but there is not a vehicle in our inventory in which she is interested. It only seemed fair to undo the deal so she can be free to make another purchase anywhere she wishes. Our customer expressed her appreciation for our willingness to do this for her. Hopefully she will come back and shop from us again in the future.
