Review: My wife and I visited this restaurant in November 2013 for lunch. We had eaten dinner here before and were impressed with the food so we came back to try it for lunch. It was already well into the lunch hour so there was a bit of a wait. We put our name in and sat in the bar area. After about 10 minutes of waiting, my wife started feeling thirsty so I went to ask the hostess for some water while we waited. She thought about it for a minute and then said "no." I explained to her that we are on the wait list and my wife's thirst is an issue as she's PREGNANT. Her reply was, "no." I asked if there was a manager we could talk to. Her reply, again, was "no." At this point, I was tempted to simply walk passed her and just ask one of the maitre d' for a glass. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have done anything as for all she knows I could be going to the restroom, but I thought better of it. If this place doesn't care about its customers then I don't care to be a customer there.Desired Settlement: Honestly, a simple face-to-face apology would be fine. I don't need a free meal or coupons; I just ask to be treated with common courtesy. It's really not that hard, I do it all the time and I don't even run a business.In the end, the best way to teach a business like this a lesson is public shame, but I don't have the means, resources, connections, or time. It's probably moot to file here. The company wasn't even listed with the Revdex.com so obviously nobody is checking, but I needed a forum.

We have received a letter from Revdex.com informing us that you were not satisfied with your lunch experience at our restaurant sometime during November 2013. I apologize that you did not have a satisfying experience. I have informed the manager about this situation. He responded that this is something he has never heard of and doesn't seem like it would happen at our restaurant. Normally, when people sit at our bar, an employee, if available at the bar, would normally ask if any of the customers would like anything to drink. Can you please give us a little more information about your visit so that we may look more into this situation. Do you remember which day you came for lunch? And do you remember the name of the hostess or what she looked like? Any information would greatly help us. Customer satisfaction is very important to us at Sam Woo Restaurant, and we are always striving to be better. Therefore, I would like to do what I can to resolve this situation. Again, I sincerely apologize that you and your wife were not happy during your visit.
