We installed an Interstate MT-Battery My cost on this battery was $ [redacted] was charged $ That means that we made $on the sale of this battery I really confused why [redacted] thinks he was overcharged??? This was not a refurbished battery We have never ever sold refurbished batteries We have been selling Interstate Batteries exclusively for over years I had already emailed [redacted] to let him know that we have a year warranty on our batteries and to just bring it by and we would take care of it I don't know any other retailer that would honor a warranty in the manner that [redacted] is suggesting Our equipment showed that his alternator was not charging to factory specifications at the time of the testing Electrical components can be intermittent If the alternator was not always charging to factory specifications during the last years, that might be why the battery failed prematurely It seems strange that [redacted] would contact you before he even attempted to have us make it right with him If [redacted] is unwilling to bring the battery back to us, I will go the extra mile and warranty the battery under the same exact terms that NAPA would have provided i.e I will refund his money based on a pro-rated formula less the core charge TJ R [redacted] owner

We installed an Interstate MT-35 Battery.  My cost on this battery was $76.95.  [redacted] was charged $84.95.  That means that we made $6.00 on the sale of this battery.  I really confused why [redacted] thinks he was overcharged???

ever sold refurbished batteries.  We have been selling Interstate Batteries exclusively for over 25 years.
I had already emailed [redacted] to let him know that we have a 3 year warranty on our batteries and to just bring it by and we would take care of it.
I don't know any other retailer that would honor a warranty in the manner that [redacted] is suggesting. 
Our equipment showed that his alternator was not charging to factory specifications at the time of the testing.  Electrical components can be intermittent.  If the alternator was not always charging to factory specifications during the last 3 years, that might be why the battery failed prematurely.
It seems strange that [redacted] would contact you before he even attempted to have us make it right with him. 
If [redacted] is unwilling to bring the battery back to us, I will go the extra mile and warranty the battery under the same exact terms that NAPA would have provided.  i.e.  I will refund his money based on a pro-rated formula less the core charge.
