Same Day Movers

I scheduled a move on Friday, November 29, 2019 for Saturday, 30, 2019 for a window arrival of 3p-5p. At 5:01p, I received a call from # XXX-XXX-XXXX stating their last move was running behind and they would be to me at 6p. I was upset, but didn't cancel the move. At 6:06p, I called the same number above and was told that he was 41 minutes away. Again, I didn't cancel the move - too late to book another moving company. At 6:06p, the mover called to say he was 41 minutes away - but didn't arrive until 6:51p or so. The move was completed and the fee issued to me. I asked what is the discount for the two hour delay. He stated having no "control over discounts...you will have to take it up with them." After asking him several times "who" should I call (with no viable response), I called the scheduling person (XXX-XXX-XXXX). He, in turn, tells me that I am "paying for a service, not the time they arrive". He also said "there is a window - doesn't mean they will show up at that time." So, I asked how is that fair to the customer? He responded, "you got your stuff moved didn't you'" I expressed that "makes no sense to me" when they were two hours late WITHOUT any apology. After a few minutes of going back and forth with him, he hung up on me. I paid the amount, but remarked that I would seek legal assistance on this matter. I shared several times, a simple apology or reaching out to keep me abreast was all I needed. I received a receipt from email: ***@gmail.com. I tried reaching out to these numbers (XXX-XXX-XXXX) and (XXX-XXX-XXXX). Both companies, with the same name but different owners. I have not heard any response from anyone at the moving company. As shared with the driver, it was very rude to take advantage of my time and money when a simple call could have alleviated a lot of issue. The response from the owner (Reggie or some name he gave over the phone) was very disappointing as a business owner.
