As stated this is a manufacturer warranty As he was told, if he does not agree with our decision he is more than welcome to contact the company It will be his responsibility to get the mattress to them so they can inspect it (same as we did) He can drop it off at our store and we will ship it back to the factory for them to inspect if that is what he would like to peruse, there will be a transport fee If it is determined to be a warranty issue, as stated he would be issued a comparable mattress We did not charge him to make a service call as all other companies do We have went above and beyond and from here out it is his decision if he would like us to send it to the factory.We do not have these issues with other customers, we feel it is an attempt to get money As stated in the store and on his receipt we do not refund money, if it is a defect we will return it to the factory and issue a comparable replacement We have followed the warranty steps and guidelines the factory requires us to do We have been doing this for years and we are very competent in what is and is not a warranty issue and this clearly is NOT!He is more than welcome to contact us on how and when it can be sent back to the factory

I am rejecting this response because:
The owned has lied so many times he doesn't know realty from fictionThe warranty card has a ten year warranty from KinkKoilSammons had no way of explaining it away except made up phone callsThe warranty doesn't say the mattress is used or times a yearThe mattress does sag and has lumps that is covered by the warranty from KinkKoilThe owners of Sammons told me it was the best sleeper mattress I could buy and would hold up to nightly useI expect Salmon's to give a refund for selling defective item and making up lies to avoid their responsibility

The customer was told when he purchased this mattress it was not made for nightly use, it is in a sofa sleeper A 4-5" mattress will not hold up or support an adult every night on a hide-a-bed frameIt was his choice to purchase it even after advised he shouldn't Anyone who has ever
slept on one will know this He paid $for this mattress and it is the cheapest you can go and it would last maybe years and he was told that.He called on the phone and was very irrational and would not follow the steps or answer questions needed for the warranty, he just wanted money back The warranty is offered by the mattress manufacturer I explained I have to follow a process to determine if it is a warranty issue or wear and tear He felt that was stupid and would not do what I ask and was not going to let me come do a warranty inspection Finally after I told him I could not help him if he was not going to work with me he agreed to let me come look at the mattress.I took the mattress off of his hide-a-bed and could see the springs on the Hide-a-Bed causing the tears in the bottom of the mattress, it was very obvious It is also being rubbed on the sides from continually pulling it in and out I proceed to put the mattress on the floor (a solid surface) and the mattress has no sags or lumps I also pointed out to him that the support of the hide-a-bed is sagging and what does he think will happen when I put the mattress back on it The frame is causing the sagging.The mattress company will not warranty a mattress for wear and tear including improper support only manufacturer defects which this is not a defect He received information with his mattress clearly stating this I can not do anymore for him He has the manufacturer's phone number if he wan't to pursue it with them We do not refund money and it is clear posted in our store and on his receipt The warranty is covered by the manufacturer not our store.If it was a warranty issue we would gladly take care of it but this is a clear case of wear and tear He was told we would give him a good buy on a mattress set made for him to be sleeping on if he wishes to go that route We did everything in our power but we can't do anything for him if it is self inflicted
