Fireside Firewood is continuing their unethical business practices Dec. 2014. Owner promised delivery on a weekend. Sunday evening he calls -has an excuse that he can't get to the firewood on his property as it has rained. Gave him a second chance to deliver. 2nd excuse - He doesn't want to drive into Reno from Truckee during the week as he gets pulled over by Nevada Highway Patrol. So he said delivery would be on the next weekend on Saturday morning early. No Delivery - Left message to call - No Answer. Owner [redacted] - Amazing as he claims to have been in the firewood business for 40 years and still hasn't grown up. Owner lists many addresses and Aka as Sammy's Firewood.Desired Settlementreview needs to be posted online for others to read and have State of Nevada revoke any business license due to continuing unethical business practices

purchased 1 cord of one year old mixed jeffery pine and tamarack fire wood. Rec'd 2/3 cord of very green jeffery pine and fir. I found Sammys Firewood, AKA [redacted] on line. Called the listed number and spoke with David. He stated he had 1 year old mixed jeffery pine and tamarack pine for $240 a cord delivered. I rec'd 3/4 cord of of very green jeffery pine and fir wood. I have called him several times to inquire about the short load and the green wood I cannot burn for months and he is avoiding my calls and not calling back. Desired SettlementI am requesting the delivery of the 1/3 cord of wood I paid for and did not receive or a refund of $75.

I pre-paid order..big mistake..non delivery of firewood...does not phone to explain no show...does not phone as promisedmanager said if I paid in advance, I would receive delivery before those who hadn't paid in advance...promised delivery on Tuesday afternoon..didn't show, didn't phone...so I phoned him. He said he forgot it was Tuesday (but Monday he remembered to cash my check)and promised to phone Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Didn't phone at all. Now it is Thursday afternoon and I have no firewood and am out $380.00Desired Settlementeither 1 cord of almond or my money back...asap
