Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted]. Please add your rejection comments below.
That is not true. They disassembled the bed. That was the main reason I hired them. Bed was fully assembled when they went to do service and disassembled but never put it back together. They are lying. So sad people is so dishonest. My son was present during the whole moving process. I paid 295 dollars for 2 hours of service the distance from one place to the other is less than 5 miles. They moved a dining set of 4 tables, 2 closets and the bedroom set. Can they explain why it took them 2 hours? If they didnt disasembled the bed?  I still have the voicemails on my phone recorded for these arragementsRegards,
[redacted]

We reject their response because we disagree with much it.  Though he did suggest two 28 foot trucks with six men, we decided to use his suggestion of hiring one 28 foot truck and four men because we could not afford his first estimate.  He also suggested we rent a 15 foot [redacted] and load it a couple of times, delivering our things ourselves.  This brought his estimate down to $1,650.00.  We did follow this advise.   We gave him a deposit check for $150.00 which I later discovered was not honoured due to non-sufficient funds, however, after the service was completed we gave his crew leader a bank check for $1,500.00.  This more than covered the entire cost and, as is stated on the attached copy of the invoice, (hand written on the bottom right of the page just before "BALANCE DUE"), "TROY OWES CUST(OMER) 310.00.  The invoice lists the charges as totalling $1,340.00.  After subtracting the $150.00 for the deposit check plus $25.00 for his non-sufficient check fee, the remainder indicates that we overpaid him by $135.00, and we are wanting a complete and prompt refund.  Mr. [redacted] says in his response through the Revdex.com that "...there is no refund.  That is a flat out lie.  I have a bounced check that clearly stated NON-SUFFICIENT FUNDS and will be taking you to small claims court to collect."  However, I have two copies of this invoice provided by his own crew indication that we are indeed due a refund.  This is also proof that we have not lied, but have rightly requested the refund we are due.  Moreover, if we cannot reach a satisfactory resolution through the Revdex.com we will take him to small claims court to collect.  The other issues we disagree with in his response include his statements: 1.  "I told you because you had so many large items, we could only stack so many on top of each other," 2.  "... your second issue of us not placing your items where they belong, the crew I sent you specifically put everything where you asked as you stood in the doorway and pointed. A lot of your boxes were not marked correctly as to what room  they belonged in," and,3.  "I strongly suggest in the future the next time you hire a professional contractor for an estimate, you take their advice." We disagree because:1.  We knew that not everything was going to fit in the truck we hired from him, (that is why we rented the [redacted], but we did indicate to       the crew several times that we wanted specific items to go on his truck.  Those items included things that very heavy and we needed      help with.  They were never loaded onto the truck.  When I spoke to Mr. [redacted] about this he said he could try to get another truck and a         few men out to help a couple of days later, but it would cost us another $800.00.  We cannot help but wonder why the specific items we      asked to have loaded on the truck were not loaded, especially in light of the offer to provide the service to do what we had       asked for already - for an additional cost.  It honestly appears like a scam to us.2.   I think there were a very few items packed that were not marked properly, but there were some obvious things misplaced, including my      sewing table which was put in the basement, and I found the upper part of a two piece display case in the entry, while the lower piece       was placed in the master bedroom.  I was not there to point to where everything was to go as I had to return to the old house to      complete work there.3.   It seems obvious that we followed his advice by hiring only one truck and four men, and renting a [redacted] to move the items that       could not fit on his truck ourselves. If the attachment is not clear enough to read please let me know and I will send you a hard copy.  Also, if there is anything else I can do please let me know.
