Sammy's Woodfired Pizza Reviews (1)

Review: I do not know what to do about this. So I am starting here. I have contacted a consumer complaint line. But, I do not know if anyone can help me. This is regarding Sammy's Woodfired Pizza location-7160 N.Durango Dr, Las Vegas, Nevada 89149 phone 702-365-7777. On June 28,2013, I went to the Durango location for an early lunch (11am)with my 2 adult children. I ordered Chicken Fettuccine with Tequila Lime Cream Sauce, Green/Red peppers and Jalapenos. I specifically asked for no jalapenos in my food and informed the waiter. He said they were mild and I wouldn't be able to taste them. Saying again, no peppers, they don't agree with me. My son ordered the same, with peppers. The orders got mixed up in the kitchen. I received the order with hot peppers, after the runner specifically said there were no peppers in my food. Not more than 1/2 hour after paying the bill and leaving the restaurant, I became very ill-low pulse, chills, diarhrea, weak, abdominal pain, pale. My children took me home. This went on until 6/29/13 at 4:20pm,pdt. I went to Centennial Hills Hospital ER for treatment. After being there, I was diagnosed with IBD from a Ct Scan. The doctor informed me that the inflammation could be seen in the xray. I contacted the Durango location. They were kind until I asked to be reimbursed for my out of pocket expenses. After stringing me along since 7/1/13, the regional chef, [redacted] informed me on 8/30/13 that my medical expenses would not be paid. They sent me $75 in restaurant certificates. I contacted the Las Vegas Revdex.com. They referred me to you.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for my out of pocket medical expenses. If they would not have mixed up the order, I would not have ended up in the emergency room, going to 2 specialists, getting a colonoscopy and a MRI. The regional chef admitted that the waiter should have asked me if I was allergic to the peppers. He did not do that. If I would have known they could not make the item without hot peppers at all, I would have ordered something else. I actually had the item previously, with no peppers and did not get sick. Is this something that Revdex.com of San Diego would handle? Or, should I just file a complaint online. I am not sure and do not know how to proceed. If someone with a more advanced case of IBD would have eaten this food, they could have died. It there is something else I should do, I would appreciate someone letting me know. Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
