[redacted] was informed that this vehicle is sold as is condition due to its mileage and year of the vehicle. the customer wasn't satisfied with the vehicle after purchase and got verbally hostile via telephone. [redacted] was informed again vehicle was sold as is condition with no existing warranty on this vehicle.

Review: I purchased a 1998 Honda Civic from [redacted] at Sam's Towing in [redacted]. When I purchased the vehicle, [redacted] told me that all of the fluids were checked and the car passed a NYS inspection. I drove approximately 20 miles after paying for and picking up the car and then proceeded to check the oil. I found that there was absolutely no oil in the car, a very dangerous predicament for me to be in. I replaced the oil, but there is an oil leak from the car and I have put 2.5 quarts of oil in since I purchased it. After owning the car for approximately 3 weeks, I have also discovered the inner tie rod has become disconnected, also a very dangerous situation. The CV joint is also damaged and needs to be replaced. I tried to contact [redacted] all throughout the time I have owned the car as he told me when I purchased it that it was under a 30-day warranty. [redacted] was not answering my phone calls, nor returning my messages. Today, I called him from a different phone number that he would not recognize. After speaking with him, he said, "I am not responsible unless you blow up the engine." His dishonesty and lack of respect is concerning not only to me, but for others that are purchasing cars from him. I need this work done on my car, but do not trust [redacted], nor Sam's Towing to perform these much needed repairs.Desired Settlement: I would like the above mentioned items to be repaired/replaced at a mechanic's shop in which I trust, and for [redacted]/Sam's Towing to refund the costs of service to me. Most importantly, I would like [redacted] and the company to be honest and sell reliable cars.
