from Chester every week. They all understand the terms of the warranty. If we pick up the dryer and deliver it back. The cost for that is $75.00 each way. For a total of $150.00 to be paid up front cash or money order before we make ant trips to Chester. Or the customer must bring the dryer back to our store in cromberg for service. Chester is out of our service area. No work will be done at the customers house.Sincerely,[redacted]

Review: Within the last year I purchased a used washer and dryer from Sam's T.V and appliances with a year warranty [redacted] himself delivered the appliances and installed them. On 5-1-16 my wife was doing some drying when the dryer just stopped and would not restart. On 5-3-16 I contacted [redacted] himself and explained the problem. At this time he stated if you want it fixed you have to bring it to me. I stated I was unable to do that due to my wife being 68 years old. And I go back in for surgery at the end of the month. I also told him I had no vehicle it would fit in. At this point Sam said "If you can't bring it to me your out of luck" and hung up the phone.Desired Settlement: All I am asking is for [redacted] to make his warranty good by fixing the dryer.

Review: On 07/05/2014 we purchased a used Vizio 42" flat screen TV from Sam's TV and Appliance. I had made previous purchases from him so was confident in a honest business transaction. I transported the item to my home in Greenville, CA. without incident. He had given me a Generic remote to use, as the original was gone. Upon hooking it up I noticed a vibration on the screen. I checked out the hookup, and outlet to verify it wasnt the problem with either. I had the Dishnet tech come by and check it out today. I could not get anyone sooner. I contacted Sam of my intentions. I called his shop, and talked to a lady, who told me he was out on a call, and probably couldnt call back until tomorrow. I told her I wish to return the TV for reimbursement. I received a very rude telephone call from Sam, calling me a liar, and he was not going to reimburse any money on a TV. He said I probably messed with the TV set, and if I brought it to him he would not repair, per warranty, if I had. I told him I resented his accusations, and his attitude. I informed him I was going to contact my attorney tomorrow. He called me a liar on that also. I looked his business up on Revdex.com, and found he had had at least 2 other issues with other customers with the same MO. I decided to do this, and also contact my attorney for a refund.Desired Settlement: Refund of $267.67, the original purchase cost.

In reply to the complaint from Mr. [redacted]. ID [redacted] the customer has purchased from me before. For that reason I accepted a check. The customer called the next day and said his check was no good because his wife would not give him the money to put into the account. He was going to mail a money order. This went back and froth for about two weeks. I received notice from my bank that his check had cleared. A day or so later I received the money order and mailed it back to him. He had mailed it to the wrong address. Please note that all during this time he never said anything about the T.V. not working satisfactory. The problem started when he called and said the T.V. had lines in it. I told him to bring the T.V. back for the repairs as my invoice states. He became angry and wanted me to drive 80 miles to his home and back. That afternoon he called my wife and said he was going to return the T.V. and wanted his money back. My invoice is the same now as it was 20 years ago. It says no refunds and the unit must be returned to me for in warranty repair work. As of this date 8-4-14 I will repair the T.V. in warranty if he has not damaged it taking it home in his pickup. I will be out of town until 8-15-14. If the TV is not returned to me within 10 days after that I will not repair it for it will be long out of warranty. The T.V. could have been repaired if there is a problem long before NOW. If only he had brought it back sooner. I will not refund any money
