Horrible service and malpractice in solving and detecting issues.
Horrible Experience! The front break of my car were making screeching noise, and on suggestion of the dealer whom I bought the car from, I reached at the garage. Mr., the owner seems to be a nice guy first and pretends to understand the problem. In my case he said the lining of rotor was smooth and he could help me get it corrected. I agreed and he started working on the same. While removing the rotor he pointed that the break pads, though new, were made of metal and suggested to replace them with expensive ceramic pads. I agreed and he called a retailer whom he knew to get the new pads. The retailer promised to be there in 15 minutes, but there was no sign of him for 1.5 hrs, after which I got finally frustrated and asked him to put the originals ones back, especially since he said that they would last at least for another 10,000 miles. The work was completed and I paid him and left. All good till now, you must be thinking! Here comes the horrible part. Withing 3 days of servicing the rotors, I started experiencing the noise again and I rang him on the spot and he asked me to come to the garage and he would check it for me. I went there withing two days and he completely changed his stance. He said that it was all due to the old brake pads. He claimed he knew that the issue would persist and that I wasn't patient enough to wait for new brake pads and started laughing on my face. I waited for 1.5 hrs hoping to get new pads and he had the courage to call me impatient. I asked him to buzz off and told him this is going on his review. He was shameless about it. I request everyone reading this to not give him business. You'll be wasting your money. I was disgusted by this human. Hope he is forced to shut his garage.

Desired Outcome

pay me back the $50 I paid for repair and $60 paid by Mr. (the dealer)

Samtech Response

This gentleman brought his car from a local dealer, and he complained to me that the brake is squeaking and he want me to resurface the rotor and I did, but to my observation I discovered that the break pad they used on the car is very very cheap product that can mess up the rotor and I advice him to put the good brake part on the car which he agreed. I called *** to supply the part, but *** didn't come on time and he was rushing, he's not patient to wait for the part and he ordered me to put the old break pad in his car, the one that messed up the rotor, and I did at his own order. After a week he came back to me and he wants me to fix his car back and resurface the rotor and put the new break pad in his car for free and I refuse to do it for free because I have to start all over again, but he got mad and walked away.

Customer Response

To begin with, he never said that the break pad was of "very very cheap" quality. All he said that this is a metal pad that will last for another 10,000 miles, but if you replace it with ceramic, it shall last for at least 30,000 miles. Clearly, he is trying to cover up for his bad work by falsifying his statement above.

Coming to the part of being patient, the new pads were supposed to be delivered in 15 minutes apparently, and they weren't at the workshop for 1.5 hrs. If waiting for a part, doing nothing for 1 hr 15 minutes is called not being patient, I don't understand his definition of patience then. I know it wasn't in his hand that the delivery of the pads wasn't done in time, but he never specified about the issue reoccurring, in the time I spent sitting with him waiting for the pads. Also, he clearly stated that the old pads shall work and I wont hear the noise anytime soon.

I agree that after a week he would start all over again, but he wouldn't have to, had he been clear about the issue and the problems I could face in future at the first place, like he is stating now and also solved the issue properly.

I did get mad and walked out of his shop because I wouldn't like to be laughed at my face and being made a fool of by a person who is dishonest with his work and has no sense of how to treat a customer.

Also, I spoke to the car dealer, who refereed me to Wattech Auto and he confirmed that this was not the first time someone has complained about him being rude and bad at work.

Lastly, if you check the link I have attached below, you'll realize how he replies to the customers who put bad reviews about his organization. This shows a lot about the nature and upbringing of Mr..

Kindly check his reply for Mr. review.

Thanks, and I hope appropriate action is taken.
