The reason the client had not received their refund as of May 31 was because we were waiting for the client to return the items to us for testing. We did not receive the items until May 19. We were also waiting to hear back from the client regarding the cost it was to ship the items after the auction (an amount that we said we would reimburse). Once we had all of the necessary information to fulfill the full refund, we were able to issue the check. The refund check was issued and mailed to the client May 28, 2014.Regards,

Review: I purchased lot number [redacted] from Freeman's 2/11/2014 auction. In the description, it is stated that of the five rings in this lot of jewelry that three of the five rings in this lot are made of Platinum. On receipt, I found that none of these rings are made of platinum and instead that all five rings are made of various karats of white gold. The difference in the value of platinum and white gold jewelry is dramatic and therefore this jewelry is worth dramatically less than what I paid for it based on the auction's claims that several of the pieces were platinum.

I immediatelly emailed two employees from Freeman's whom I had previously been in contact with and asked for their assistance in resolving this matter. Nine days since these two emails were sent have passed and I have yet to receive a response from [redacted] or [redacted].Desired Settlement: A full refund of the purchase price plus the $65 paid by me in shipping costs to have this item shipped to me and an additional $65 to cover the cost of return shipping.
