Samuels Jewelers Reviews (30)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me I am currently waiting for them to order me a new necklace to replace my old one, I was told that the necklace I had was discontinued so it will take approximately days to get a replacement into the store, as none of their other stores carry the item anymore Again in the wait and see phase of dealing with this issue Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: LET ME EXPLAIN ONE MORE TIME, I purchased the new ring setting with the understanding from a Samuel's Representative that by placing my old center diamond into the new ring setting that EVERYTHING would be covered; PROVIDED I PURCHASE the DIAMOND COVERAGE AND the GOLD COVERAGE and HAVE MY SET CHECKED EVERY MONTHS I HAVE COMPLIED WITH EVERYTHING THIS COMPANY HAS ASKED FOR I would NEVER have purchased this set without the guarantee and warranty of everything covered to include my old diamond in the new ring setting!!! One time a hand shake was good, but now you have guarantees and warranties...that are good for NOTHING.BUYER BE AWARE, I was so mislead for this transaction I don't wear a hearing aid, I know exactly what was agreed upon and I bought everything to cover everything!!! So, to recap: if this company does not replace my diamond - Samuel's Representatives are misleading customers and the Company Samuel's Jewelers actually backs the LIES of their sales representatives just to make a sales I thought this was a reputable company and backs their products and workmanship, but I've learned not so.Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: While I do not deny owing a difference in value, that value is actually $plus tax which is a total of $ This difference in cost though is accounted for in the transaction 420, on 3/31/Register at 17:02; this is when I received my final ringI realize my ordeal is complicated and the reason for the complication is in large part because of the workmanship, and overall bad service I received in store, which was the reason for my returnI refused to be upsold when an exchange was what we agreed to, since my original ring purchased in late August of was repaired nearly a dozen times and [redacted] and [redacted] were being contradictory regarding an upsell that I fell naïve too, but since decided not to go through with, when I had nearly doubled my ring's value, and I hadn't worn that ring for a month, while my actual ring was being made, and stones fell out of that ring too I had absolutely enough of being taken advantage of If everyone at the store level and at the number, would have been thorough and professional when I attempted to work with them, it could have been resolvedI've even sent supporting documentation via mail The $is the amount that was shorted in the return and re-ring completed by [redacted] on 1/23/when she called in to the credit processing centerI realize my ordeal is complex and complicated but I refuse to accept the company's original response because the difference in value for the final product was not even determined I am disputing the difference in cost from the purchase on 12/21/that was supposed to be cross cancelled/null with the promo return on 1/23/(All of this was an upsell that I mentioned above, but I decided to cancel in between time)This did not happen Since the company is having such a difficult time understanding their own transactions, please look at what I gave back, its value, and what my current product is If this is done, the case should burst wide open To my point also, my original product was purchased August 25th, This item was eligible for a year no interest if paid within that set time frame If the jewelry company works with the financing company they would recognize that I've paid every month without issues the required amount in order to pay it off completely by the time the promotional period expired If the company did their due diligence they would also recognize that my promotion would have come to an end this past August, except for the slight difference of $(the true difference I do not dispute) The jewelry company and the financing company would also uncover that I have a few months during the promotion where I paid more than the set amount to satisfy the promotion, which would speak to the difference in costI still have a balance on my card howeverThe balance has to due with this re-ring the company refuses to acknowledge as their errorI've asked them to review the phone records, and have been writing and mailing that request every since February 2014, when I realized the error on my bill I have also spoken with the company and the financial company I am only asking for honest billing My final product cost was $4,My return was $4,Please re-evaluate and before responding research with the financing company Regards, [redacted] (P.SI am more than willing to send attachments, or more supporting documents, but I do not presently have access to a scanner in order to do so.) I can and will within the week if necessary however, I did not want to miss my window of opportunity)

This was the only documentation given to me and the only documents signed upon purchase of my engagement ring and matching wedding bandThe return policy is listed on the receipt, but there is no mention of me special ordering my engagement ring setting, diamond, or matching wedding band nor was this ever conveyed or stated by the jeweler at any time during the purchase or selection of the diamondI had no way of knowing that the engagement ring and wedding band were considered special order items since that was not explained to me and instead I was only told of the day return policy upon signing and purchasing the ringsNo special order or alteration policies were discussed with me or disclosed causing me to misled upon signing

I have two life time warranties. What do I do to get them honored?

I have two life time warranties. What do I do? Is there away to have it honored?

Samuels by my house went out of business, so where do I get my rings checked at?

We got a engagement ring from Samuel last may it has being gone for repair eight weeks now they said we broke a claw my wife to be only wears it at weekend this ring was bought in white Rose in Leeds we are not happy with this store I ask for a new ring . and they said no we get married on Saturday we feel we have been let down. it is ok having a warranty it was away for six weeks then we were not happy with it .it had to be sent back .we have spent a lot off money at the shop .staff said they would keep us informed and they haven't . can one off your Directors sort this out for me please we want a new ring for Saturday. any one thinking off getting a ring from this store please go to some were .

I cannot believe I was sold a lifetime warranty on my ring when the employee knew that it would not be honored. How am I supposed to get it inspected and cleaned? The employee said that I did not have to bring it back every six months for inspection just if something happened with it. I purchased this ring in October 2018. What can I do about the lifetime warranty I paid for?

Is there a company that has bought out your service plans? If not how do we get reimbursed for the lifetime warranty. I won’t do it but I hope you have a plan of action because it’s things like these that start class action suits. I was told by an employee that someone else was taking over these accounts? Is this true & who are they any contact info will be greatly appreciated. The 2 stars is also for the length of time & lack of communication on how long it would take to get my ring RE-sized. Over 3 Months

Ordered a ring Nov. 28th for a Christmas present, they had to send it out to be sized. I asked if it would be back before Christmas, the sales person said definitely. When I called today the manager, Katie, said that it take 4 to 5 weeks and that it said that on the slip somewhere. I had 3 women in the store with me that day and heard the sales rep. Katie was very rude. Acted like I was lying to her about her employee saying I would have it before Christmas. I told her if it did not arrive before Christmas I would like my money back, she said no. I told her that work of mouth was the best advertisement, her response was "we are in bankruptcy anyway". With an employee like this one I can see why. This was a Christmas present to me from my husband and now Samuels has made it nothing but stressful. Missoula, MT store in Southgate Mall. I will never buy anything from there and am telling all on my facebook to spread the word.

Went to Samuels today to get my ring inspected and cleaned. I was told that they are no longer honoring the Lifetime warranty that I purchased! How can a company just say that they are not honoring a signed contract? As a courtesy they should at least allow customers to get a refund on those warranties or a store credit. This is too bad cause I was going to purchase an $8,000 ring that I had had my eye on, but I’m going to have to pass now. :-(

Be happy you didn't buy the $8.000.00 ring. I bought 3 diamond rings and a necklace during their bankruptcy sale. The diamond wedding band has all fake diamonds except for one small one. The jewelry store where I had it checked told me that they've had several customers who experienced the same thing. I wish I knew how to contact bankruptcy court, because this is fraud.

We purchased a lifetime warranty on a wedding set 9 years ago. Everything has been great until now. Tonight we were told that Samuels is going out of business and would no longer sign off 6 month inspections or honor the lifetime warranty we purchased.
