my email response sent to Mr. [redacted] yesterday, for your review. I became aware of the situation on January 30, after Mr. [redacted] emailed the President of Hearst Corporation's Newspaper Division, [redacted], who is based in New York. Mark's office contacted me and requested that I look into the matter and ascertain why Mr. [redacted] was unable to subscribe to the San Antonio Express-News. I sent an email to Mr. [redacted] on January 30, outlining the various subscription offers for his area - - only mail delivery is available. Mr. [redacted] claims that he has responded to my January 30 email multiple times. I have yet to receive a response via email or otherwise. On February 11, I received a letter from Mr. [redacted] with a copy of the Revdex.com complaint. There was nothing in the envelope, only a print out of the complaint. Please note my email response from February 11, to Mr. [redacted]. As you can see from my emails, my contact information including phone numbers is listed. I have not received an email response from Mr. [redacted] to date, from either of my two emails to him. If I had Mr. [redacted]'s phone number, I would call him. In my last email, I again asked Mr. [redacted] to let me know the subscription type he would like. I also provided Mr. [redacted] with a link to our website where he can purchase any items he may find of interest. Mr. [redacted] has not paid the Express-News for any products to date, so I am unclear as to why Mr. [redacted] is disputing $80.00. Clearly, I do not agree with any disputed amount in this circumstance. Reguards,

Contrary to Mr. [redacted]’s statements regarding my character, I have yet to receive an email from him. Yes, I do agree that my email address is [redacted]@express-news.net. All of my communication with Mr. [redacted] also included my office and cell phone numbers. Mr. [redacted]’s phone number was not included in his Revdex.com complaint.   The Express-News requires prepayment for all mail subscriptions. If Mr. [redacted] would like to subscribe Monday thru Sunday, the cost is $9.80 per week.  We also offer a Sunday only subscription for $7.30 per week. Mr. [redacted] can mail me a money order for the subscription type and term that he would prefer. Once I receive payment, the subscription will be started.   Mr. [redacted] should know that the newspaper will be delivered by the US Postal Service and as such, we do not guarantee same day delivery.   We are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Express-News being in business this year. I don’t believe we would still be around if we treated our customers in the manner that Mr. [redacted] is portraying.   I am happy to assist Mr. [redacted] in any way I can.   Regards,   [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  I am sorry He has lied.  I have ALL the replied Emails in My Box.  I have replied to his email. He is lying. I want to subscribe and I replied numerous times accepting his offer. He is clearly very dishonest. I am printing this and sending it to Hearst Newspaper President [redacted] . I sent Mr. [redacted] a copy of all the replied emails also. I was told I could subscribe. I am willing to Pay.  [redacted]. [redacted] is clearly a liar and dishonest.  The email I have replied to at least 15 times is "[redacted], [redacted] A" [redacted]@express-news.net   Is he going to now deny that is his email? I only want a one month subscription now.  I have tried to pay and tried to reach out to Mr. [redacted] numerous times. He clerarly has my email. I have his email, and again replied numerous times to his email saying yes! I will subscribe. I will send him a money order! He knows how to contact me, He just ignored it. At least be honest and tell the truth!

I am rejecting this response because: I was on the phone at the time of the person's call.  When I checked...

my e-mail, I found another "offer of 4 weeks of paper at only $1.50. Again avoiding the price on the ad I and my whole neighborhood received for $1.00. The person did not leave a name as you know, only a phone number. I called at abou3:23 today, assuming they were not going to contact me again. There office closes at 5. I felt I am the one being wronged, but would call and give them a last chance for a "sorry we were wrong". Left message that I was on another call when they called, BUT I did receive their offer on e-mail for the 4 week at only $1.50.  Not buying it. still sounds like a scam. In my world a $1.00 is not $1.50.

I just tried calling with no...

answer. I would have called yesterday morning but I was in the emergency room as I am currently ill. First of all, the complaint was sent to the Revdex.com because of how many times I have contacted The Express News by phone, email (Via your EN website) and Facebook with no resolution, and no real answers. And I don't know if it was the intention or not but the response I have recieved actually seems a little rude. It has now been a week and I still have not received the requested refund. All I ask is the requested refund and then I will consider this issue resolved. The issue of this being a Wednesday and Sunday subscription or not is really irrelevant at this point. The fact is that the papers were never recieved, and I want my money back. Please refund the missing amount stated in my original complaint and I will consider this issue resolved.
