I received a call from Mr. about a leak he had in the back of his House. I visited with him and explained that I could caulk around the chimney and in the Valley and a few other areas. I performed a full maintenance service over and beyond what was expected ( painted and caulked all the vents and pipe *acks). I informed Mr. at that time that he needed to replace the two flat patio roofs as they were cracked and worn out and that was where the leak was coming from. I gave him a Bid to replace those roofs. He explained he did not have the money to replace them . Later after he returned home from being out of town he noticed the roof leaked again, He called me and I informed him was sick with the flu and could not make it out there right away. I didn't want to expose anyone to the flu virus I had. Mr. called me back and informed me the he wanted his money back and that he had someone else replace the two patio roofs as I had advised him to do so in the first place. It turns out he did have the money after all. I fee! he wanted to take advantage of me. did the maintenance work on the roof and provided him with the proper solution for replacing the patio roofs. I'm sure since he replaced those patio roofs he has no more leaks.
