San Diego Carpet Cleaning

Review: I purchased a living social deal for $44 ($101.00 value) for " A Steam Cleaning for up to three rooms up to 200 square feet each and a hallway". I called the same day this deal was purchased (July 22, 2015) and made an appointment with a very rude female who acted like I was bugging her by calling. She asked for my name and address, then informed me I would receive a call 30 min before the man was on his way to my house. Expected arrival was 2-4pm. It was a 2 minute phone call. Fast forward to July 27, 2015, my husband was home all day waiting for these guys to show up. I had my cell phone with me all day knowing they would call me. 3:30pm rolls around and I decide to inquire about an ETA. The rude female tells me someone called me earlier (before my scheduled time) and no one answered. I informed her theres a mistake because I've been by my cell phone all day with no calls. She confirmed my # and told me she'd ask the man again and call me back. Minutes later the supervisor calls asking if I received a call. I say "no" and he told me he's 40 minutes away now and we need to reschedule. I deny this acceptance with frustration and he says "ok ill come then". An hour later a different man arrives now trying to up sell my husband and I while informing us he can't clean unless we buy additional services. According to him, what I purchased was a scotch guard service, not for cleaning. I throughly read the fine print before which advertised carpet cleaning, not scotch guard service. It was going to cost $130+++ to clean. [redacted] reviews online for this company all complain of the same scam these guys are running and it's unfair to pay for service and have them show up to sell you more of what you do not need and then not even receive what you even paid for originally. The fine print AND the advertisement itself needs to state clearly what you get.The girl on the phone never informed me of this either or asked me questions to make sure. this is an ongoing issue for them.Desired Settlement: My hope is to force them to correct this issue because I feel the business they do receive is based on lies and then as the consumer, you're backed into a corner and end up buying the additional services because you've already moved furniture, took the day off and they're already at your house. I on the other hand asked the man to leave immediately.No services were performed. I also want Living social to correct the advertisement and issue me a full refund for what I paid.
