Hi,I wanted to be in touch to let
you know that *** *** and his company have resolved the issues that we had.In fact he was more than fair and open to ensure that the matter was resolved.I wanted to let you know so that it can be added to this case, to be sure that you can maintain his company on the Revdex.com with good faith.Regards***

Shane was able to come out on a days notice and is a great people person, he was very through and upon finishing his inspection, he asked us to go along with him as he pointed out any and everything wrong, broken, missing, anything that is or could cause trouble/be a problem later I appreciated his honesty and him taking the time to be very throughHe even gave suggestions on ways to fix some problems His final inspection report was so easy to read and included pictures and descriptions of things I wasn't able to see, as I did not go in crawl spaces or attic or unscrew things to see what lies beneath And all this meant a lot to me as this was a inspection to see if I wanted to buy the house and I needed to know if everything was in good condition He also made it known that if after receiving report, if we had any questions about it, to go ahead and give him a call I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who is thinking about buying a house and needs to know what they are getting into

Review: They were paid to carry out a home inspection report prior to the purchase of our home.

We were unable to be present whilst the report was being carried out. With this in mind, we were under the impression that a professional and insured company would still do a good, trustworthy report.

We were obviously wrong!

The report was returned and since then we have had major structural issues with the house, that were not even mentioned in the report.

The largest one of these is the roof. It is obvious to anyone with basic knowledge that the roof was old, had leaks and also that due to these there was visible dry rot.

Subsequently we are now having to have a new roof installed, along with replacing areas of the damaged wood.

This is all on top of having just invested our life savings into the purchase of our new home.

This is all on top of having already had to replace an upper deck that they had failed to see obvious signs of dry rot on. This alone cost us in excess of 10,000 dollars!

On reviewing the inspection report to be sure that it wasn't noted, I have also seen that they have left items on the report that are from a previous property.

For example, there is a picture and a description of the gas line and valve. We do not have gas for our house. This simply shows that it was left on the report from a previous inspection. This worries me, as to what else may or may not have been missed on the report.

This shows the major neglect and lack of professionalism in the report.Desired Settlement: I feel that with a correct report, I would have been able to negotiate the roof repairs into the price of the house. As a result I am now very out of pocket and would like to be reimbursed for the cost of replacing the roof of the house.
