My name is [redacted] and I am the manager at San Diego Nails and Spa at [redacted]. The complaint number is [redacted]. I would like to explain the incident in regards to the customer's complaint that happened on March 14, 2014. On that day, the customer arrived...

to get serviced for her nails and feet. We asked her politely what she would like to get **ne, and what color she would like as well. There was no harassment of any kind from the nail technicians. The customer stated that she wanted a full set, however, there was a miscommunication with the nail technician and the customer. Due to this miscommunication, the nail technician had to re** the customer's nails; the nail technician had to take off the fake nails that were already placed on with a new set. During this time, the nail technician accidentally cut the customer's finger. This action was not **ne intentionally nor did the nail technician mean to cause harm to the customer. The nail technician was not angry as the customer implied that she was. The cut was made by the tip of scissors on the middle finger. The nail technician was scared and so she informed me of the accident. However, after I was informed that the client had been cut, I went to check everything out. I applied antiseptic on her cut to try and stop the bleeding . I cleaned the cut with peroxide. I offered to take the client to urgent care and take care of the bill for the treatment. I had asked the client if I could take a picture of her finger, so I could ** a report with the insurance. However, the client refused any help; she did not want me to take her to urgent care nor did she allow me to take a picture of the cut so that we could informed the insurance company. Then after the client had left, I called the police to come and ** a report. After the incident happened, I am taking drastic measures to improve my nail technicians in order to provide better services for my clients. I am willing to settle with the client and provide her with reimbursement from the treatment from urgent care for that cut on her finger that occurred on that day. I am sincerely apologetic for what had happened.
Sincerely,
