If there was a pipe there why would we not plumb to it? We replaced what was there and it worked until the leach field could not accept the volume of water being used, but the pipe we installed still functioned When I was first contacted I was told to refund the money or he would cause problems I'm unwilling to refund the money for a job well done We fixed the problem

This is in reference to the above numbered complaint. The customer had us out to do a location and draw an as-built for the county. We located the system and drew the as-built as requested. It was needed by the county for a proposed solar array. We did nothing more than draw
the system. As part of the selling of his home the system did not pass a certification test performed by someone other than us. While I was on vacation he tried to contact me and then he contacted you and now here we are. I have contacted the customer and he does remember the as-built for the solar array and only seemed upset that I didn't contact him fast enough.*** ***San Diego Septic Systems

*** is actually correct We were hired to replace a clogged pipe between the existing tank and the existing leach line We tunneled under the concrete to replace 6-8' of pipe There was no pipe in his existing leach line so just as before we plumbed it to the void space (rock)
This is not uncommon when dealing with systems that arent to code as this one was not We deal with all kinds of home grown systems, old systems, and remedies and pipe we installed was still delivering the water from the tank to the leach line even when he dug it up I have discussed this with *** *** at the Dept of Environmental Health and he concurs I also want to point out that we recommended a full repair with permits and it was declined due to price so we fixed the immediate problem and it worked

Mr. [redacted] never told me that he did not connect the outlet line to my leach line. He sent one man over to do the work and that man worked for 3 hours for a price of $1,600. When I arrived to pay him for the work Mr. [redacted] did not give me a receipt and now I know why. Mr. [redacted] did not do the job that I hired him to do and he was not willing to put it in writing or tell me that he did not connect my outlet line to the leach line. He said my return check would be my receipt. We never discussed a full repair or did Mr. [redacted] give me an estimate for such a repair.
